Emerald Nightmare is a corruption of the Old Gods and that was the corruption of both Teldrasill and Shaladrassil.
I mean in the game I would join fyrakk, because itād be more interesting than āazeroth holding hands as friends against all obvious evilā

To be fair, Teldrassil is pretty much Ash nowā¦
That was ācontainedā as far as Iām aware, within parts of the Emerald Dream.
If āI like killing things because Iām evilā is your thing, I suppose. Not exactly an interesting motive, though.

Your point was it was an old god corruption and therefore more potent then the other kinds of corruptions while its been the only kind corrupting it so far.
And ill say it again, the other trees were a gateway to the dream to corrupt the dream as they are linked from our reality to theirs, but Amirdrassil should have no gateway connection to our world as it is in the dream.

Yes, it was, and you corrected that assumption.
My response is that the corruption of the Emerald Nightmare spilling out of the dream and into Azeroth could have resulted in the old gods regaining power over Azeroth. The containment of the Nightmare has been an ongoing thing over multiple expansions, and it hasnāt been eradicated. Do you want to give old god corruption another route into Azeroth, forcing its people to fight against it on another front? (And Iām not sure if shadowflame isnāt intended to be a more powerful form of corruption seeing as it warped the minds of both a dragon aspect and a primal incarnate.)
Will we do scientific or empirical method to find out how magic trees in other dimensions work?
On a serious note: every time something goes wrong in a dream it reflects on azeroth, weāve seen it with emerald nightmare
All evidence of old god corruption so far is that it is slow growing. It was slow with Neltharion, it was slow with Shaladrassil that started after the War of the Aincients when the Satyrs were placed in an eternal sleep deep beneath the roots of Shaladrassil.
It was fast with Fyrrak but mainly as he was a being of fire and took the shadowflame willingly himself for a powerboost, not even sure any other primal could have handled it. Is it a tool to corrupt with even or rather a tool of destruction.
In the case of Azshara we got a clipnote version with warbringers of her corruption but not sure what her timeline was for changing herself and all her ppl into Naga.
But again, you skipped why Amirdrassil would be a gateway to our world. The Seed was created in the shadowlands, planted in the dream. Is it the souls of the elfs?
Usualy its done through our world via a world tree and from the tree itself come back to ours.
Itās convoluted way of explaining ātree is a door to emerald dream, so when tree gets corrupted part of the dream around the tree gets corrupted tooā
I mean emerald nightmare raid is about going into the dream to remove source of corruption, after it land starts to heal
And how did we enter the dream? Via the tree. The buildup of that corruption on that very small patch of land was 10k years so ill assume it will take that long to heal.
Isnāt it started to quickly spread when xavius became active right on time when legion invaded Azeroth?

Might have been, it was like that when we got there. If so i dont know why he waited till then as who would have stopped him, Nightbourne that hid in their snowglobe city? They knew nothing of what happens outside their bubble.

i mean if heād tried to corrupt tree on his own without help of legion druids wouldāve just found out earlier and heād became raid boss earlier.
They werent even on the same continent. The Nelfs secluded themselfs on part of Kalimdor after the sundering and didnt really explore. Hell they hardly seemed to make contact with the Tauren and thats a race alliance that should have made much sense for 10k years. For all they knew Kalimdor was all there was of the world.

my understanding from what is written in chronicles - emerald dream is like warp from warhammer, azeroth is like materium, something happens in dream - it starts to affect azeroth.
I think something like this were also presented in barrens horde questing, some snake druids i donāt remember

The trees themselfs are the gateway to the dreamā¦ but Amirdrassil is IN the dream and not made from anything Azerothian other then the elven souls, but they themselfs should be connected to the dream, not Azeroth.
Thought it was the Twisting Netherā¦ i know to little of Warhammer 40k for the other names.
