I knew this was gonna be a biased review just by reading the title.
I mean⌠If questing would be the biggest problem with SL, then it would be the best expansion since wotlk.
Sorry, could someone correct me if I am wrong, but did it take anyone a great deal of time to level through the zones? Or is this guy just being an incredible drama queen?
You literally do it once and never have to do it again.

Yes, i studied games development, and got the highest grades achievable on the course i took. I know the importance of a story behind any game. Even Mario has a story. But there are ways to deliver the story other than quests. Also, when the story takes a nose-dive like the story in WoW has recently, it would be kinder to deliver that story in another way.
So, to summarise the OP: I no like RPG gameplay, plx nerf
To play a MMO and not like questing is akin to whine about violence in a fps -> just plain idiotic.
Why bother playing for a game youâre no longer having fun with? You donât like what theyâve done with it, stop paying for it. Simple. People who keep paying for a game they no longer like are the biggest fools.
Did you miss the part where i said that i like everything about WoW, except for the quests? I think you must have.
On the contrary⌠People who just quit something that they enjoy, because of 1 part of it they do not like, instead of âcomplaining/whiningâ/ giving a critical review - or whatever those who disagree may choose to call it⌠they are the biggest fools.
Why does everyone go âO, blizzard said so, nothing we can do about it, okâ and quit the game so easily? Because of the extreme negativity they get from other players on these forums when they actually bother to complain.
Look, Blizzard listen to what the players say, and they deliver what it appears that the players want. But the problem is, they only see what the forum regulars want⌠and the game has been tailored to suit them, at the cost of the millions of players who have been told to âjust quitâ by the regular posters (and they did quit).
The player-base of every game is a leaking bucket. Every time one of you regular forum posters tell someone to quit, unsubscribe, or to go play FPS when they give an opinion which differs from your own, you shoot another hole in the side of that metaphorical bucket. You kill the game even more.
So just think about that, because it seems to me that you are the ones who donât actually like this game, seeing as you are so quick to try and kill it with your infectious negativity.
This is a copy paste of a thread that pop every 2 years with the release of a new xpac.

The dungeon finder told me âyou may not queue for this dungeon, item level 155 required, currently 153â so i bought some more armour to bump me up to 155, then it says âyou may not queue for this dungeonâ with no reason why.

All the things you want to do, you can actually do in-game, so I donât see the problems youâre facing. But itâs good to clear the heart. You go champ.
Chromieâs for leveling from 1 to 50. Not after youâre 50 or when youâre already max level. you got that confused.
You do the quests for shadowlands once. If you canât deal with doing the quest chain once, what are you even doing here, playing world of warcraft? Go play something that doesnât have grinding in it.
flying is going to be available in the first major patch. Get used to walking till then.

once you done it with your main, on your alts You take a quest that lets you choose a zone. You pick that zone and then do world quests or dungeons or quests or whatever else you want from there, to finish the progress.
And heck. if you donât like doing that? Just que for dungeons 24/7 till you hit 60. A friend of mine got to level 60 by simply skinning stuff for gold farming.
You clearly donât belong in a game like wow. Pick a better genre for youself.
you canât even handle lvling to 60 with questing? You wanted to level to 130 that way? are you intentionally complaining about everything or youâre just unintentionally missing the irony in your own words?
