Hunter transmogs aren’t great, my best advise would be level a allied race up and use their heritage armour 
Necrolord next expansion does mail armour super well tho imho, sadly though… depending on how balance lands you may end up gimping yourself to have it 
I’d put Plate above cloth because 90% of the HD cloth armor are robes and i don’t like robes.
Leather is the worst especially when you are a Druid you won’t have anything good to wear. Leather seats are often complete form over substance or they are just dumb and uncreative. Ironically the best leather set is the 7th Legion with additional decorative pieces 
I think mail armor looks great on draenei females(have this hunter and shaman), the shoulders aren’t so over sized on them. But it really doesn’t fit all races so it’s a bit hard to put together a look that doesn’t look off.
I love the challenge of finding transmogs to fit a race/class combination.
I love how I transmoged my pandaren shaman to look like Raiden from mortal combat, or my Draenei shaman to have lots of purple crystals, coming off his armour, Dwarf hunter… Of course had to be a mountaineer.
I will spend hours trying to build a look for a charcter, then weeks farming for that look.
Not shaman classes
Nowhere near as bad though. Plenty of decent rogue sets, my favourite is the Tomb of Sarg set, looks awesome.
There’s plenty of very nice looking Shaman sets that really stand out.

Class : priest - just cant get it right
Honestly, I haven’t found a single leather set that I like. I can’t even make a transmog set out of varius pieces because I just don’t like any of the leather armour.
Which is a shame; because I find rogues and demon hunters fun to play.
mail is by far the worst.
though i do wanna add my gripe with cloth, that is the fact the dress model for cloth has barely changed in 15 years.
Id like to have robes that actually look more like khadgars
Rubbish there is lots of good mogs for druids out there and they do not need to be sets .
We could do with more robes to be fair but we are better off than hunters thats for sure .
If you have a creative mind and time on your hands you can come up with some good/interesting combinations.
However yes, Hunters got the short end of the stick when if came to transmogs… Some sets don’t even make any sense at all.
Good? If you consider looking like a clown hobo being good then sure.
You not like the Challenge Mode set? I feel like that was one of the best hunter sets thematically. Beside the helmet looking like crud.
But I agree that Mythic NH set is pretty much the only Hunter set beside the CM one that has caught my eye.
The mail sets are looking fantastic in Shadowlands however. Especially the PvP elite ones.
The best looking hunter transmog set they ever made is MOP CM gold. But it’s not obtainable anymore. Nighthold hunter mog isn’t that bad looking either, would use that one if i didn’t have MOP CM mog.
Nighthold Rogue is way better then hunters …
