I was initially sceptic about SoD but after consideration it may actually be what we all would want it to be. Balanced, fleshed out game. Lets see how it turns out in the long run.
However
There are other things Blizz could do.
Develop other areas of the map, Eastern Kingdom got few areas that could be expanded such as the area to the right of burning steppes and left to it. Looks like something is there but can’t gain access to it.
The area to the left of Dun morogh as well. Bit of an area there that could be expanded. Some part of Quel’thalas as well.
With Kalimdor there is massive area of mount hyjal which could easily serve as a new zone, would be nice to have something done with it too.
Don’t forget guys that all map changes came with Cataclysm so expanding in classic wouldn’t hurt the lore and timeline at all.
We had a hint of Karazhan during Blizzcon and Scarlet which I greatly applaud Blizz, this is what we were banging on about.
No.
Existing areas, either accessible, not accessible, finished, unfinished, must not be touched.
Especially the unaccessible areas (including the unfinished ones). They must be preserved.
Any new area is welcome, but must be created by adding new land (extending the continent onto the water, for example). Must be brand new, without touching the old ones.
They did already announce that they may add new zones/raids to SoD like for example: Ever wondered what could be luring behind the big timbermaw gate in azsharah? Well, soon we may know.
Yeah I was gonna say this, I am sure I heard from an interview or whatever it was that they might open up new areas or whatever, even keep doing some chain quests that just stopped wierdly. Lets see what they do with it.
