Would you stay in a guild that lets Hunters roll on Brutality Blade & Quick Strike Ring?

It’s obviously a casual guild. Let them play however they want. Had it been master loot and they had given it directly to the hunter then yes that’d be favoritism but roll? Who cares? You join a casual guild and you expect them to min max? It’s like joining a quest run for a dungeon and expecting spell cleave.

But yes coming to the forums for validation makes you look like a little…

Yes, you would stay in such a guild b/c you are a baddie, I wouldn’t.

Hunters are Tier C DPS, they are not brought into Raids to DPS, they are brought into Raids to kite and buff the Melees with TSA and wolf.

My current pro guild does not allow scrub specs like Retardins or Utility classes (Hunters/Druids) to roll on TIer A (Pure DPS) classes BIS items.

Any guild that gives melee weapons to Hunters over Warriors and Rogues is not worth being in

Just premium ignorance. Melee classes need those weapons to do damage, Hunters use them as stat sticks

Surely it’d be fair if Warriors and Rogues then get ranged weapons over Hunters?

What goes around comes around, and if you’re a greedy Hunter then don’t come crying when your ranged weapons get taken

Cry more Brutality Blade wouldn’t have made you higher than 15th on the meter

NOOOOOOO!

SOMEONE PLAYS PALADIN DPS!!!

WHAT CRAZY MORONS! BURN THE WITCH

p.s. both those items are great for hunters. If it’s an upgrade for you, you should be able to roll.

Not trying to grind your gears, but, uh, what the guild was doing wouldn’t be called “casual” - they were actually min-maxing in terms of longevity :stuck_out_tongue:

Rogue dps is high enough in pre-raid bis for raids, other classes can use a little pep during phase 1. Hunters also benefit from the items he is whining about far longer than Rogues do. A loot council would’ve most likely ruled the way he’s whining about because it’s the sensible thing to do.

Dude, stop burying yourself even more

So utility classes aren’t worth anything? Do we realize this mentality of dps > all isn’t beneficial? Not every guild plays by those rules. If you want to be a try hard at a 15 year old game, then join a “pro” (lol?) guild in a game from 2004… I mean… People do stroke their epeen playing Mario Brothers so I guess it’s fine?

It’s molten core anyway, hunters>rogues in dps

Delicious assumption. Says far more about you than me. You also don’t know your mouth from your buttocks, as is clear by the items you’re whining about.

Mmmmm delicious tears. Got some sort of grudge against hunters now, aye? Lovely. Let’s see where that takes you.

Welp, good thing you can stay in that guild and not infect some other guild with your toxic garbage attitude.

Yes, exactly such a guild is not worth being into if you are a pure DPS’er.

This Guild Of Bads still cannot get 40 ppl to raid and they have to resort to raiding in association with a different guild, AND STILL they can’t get 40 ppl to a raid.

In contrast, my current pro raid guild has got TWO FULL 40 MAN RAIDS that raid in different days each week.

I was going by the admins response but you’re right. Does look like it.

Who. Cares.
Let them play and stop whining.

Ohh look someone trying to make his 1 pixel epeen look like a huge dong…

No I’m not. Wrong is subjective.

Can we all just enjoy the masterwork level of trolling on display here? Complaining about ‘baddies’, and showing off about his ‘Pro’ guild despite being too afraid to post on his classic character and posting from a 102 Warrior instead… He got us good.

I really love how he’s saying he’s in some pro raiding guild and whining about items he believes he’s prophesied to receive first without knowing jack about loot council strats and BiS longevity prioritization, as well as calling anybody who disagrees a baddie.

I guess this would be a good time to mention I “casually” raided naxx with my “baddie” guild in vanilla? xD Jesus.

Both items are BiS for hunter

There are no non-Hunter items. Everything in this game (and quite a few others besides) is specifically designed for Hunters.

Your Guild leaders were absolutely right to grant those weapons to the Hunters within the group, because Hunters have the right to claim any and all items. See that shield? Hunter item. Tanks can just suck it up if they know what’s good for them. Caster DPS stave? - Hunter weapon for sure… and so it goes on.

I remember some members of my old Guild being upset after downing Illidan and both Rogues in the raid being denied the right to roll on Warglaive of Azzinoth, which, quite properly, went to a Hunter.

We had similar drama after killing Arthas during WotLK. Warmace of Menethil, an obvious Hunter weapon if ever there was one, was claimed by some ill-informed Death Knight. Naturally his ridiculous plea was ignored completely and the Hunter had that bad boy in his bag faster than you could blink.

Hunters just have right of first pick, and also second, third and fourth pick. It’s a fact of life. You must accept it.

Even loot in other games goes to Hunters. My own Night Elf is still carrying the Revenant Assault Rifle from Mass Effect 2.
