I started playing Shaman, but I heard that he is “weak” at 60 and raiding.
Can anyone with REAL knowledge explain how he’s doing?
I don’t want to spend time leveling, when in the end he’s not good at raiding.
besides shaman - which class are worth putting time in effort regarding raiding endgame?
Yea as ele or enhance you will have a bad time, but resto is very much needed, Warriors will kiss your feet for a windfury totem. Mage warlock also very good but boring. Warrior has the most engaging pve Rotation what i did read online
shaman = play resto druid = play resto priest = play holy (you could raid as shadow but its not that great and theres never more than one slot available) paladin = play holy, ret is the biggest meme in wow
(all healers can raid in a hybrid pvp spec but it doesnt matter now that theres dual spec)
mage = hero class in all facets of wow but be prepared to compete for raid spots. doesnt even need gear to perform well warlock = the notorious threat ripper, horrible without hit and is mediocre with gear. very ‘slow’ damage but when you crit you hit REALLY hard warrior = same situation as mage, very op but requires gear, struggles to get into raids because of competition. rogue = same as mage, very op not as gear dependant as warriors, struggles to get into raids because of competition hunter = similar to lock but doesn’t require gear nor does it scale well – utility bot
with all this being said all classes excel in their own roles outside of the raid environment
Idk what these donkeys above think they know, but they are clueless asf.
DPS:
The only class that really pumps is warrior.
Mage is only insane when it comes to play fire specc, and that only happends in AQ and Naxx.
HEALERS:
Shaman
Priest
and Holy pala.
That’s it.
High end guilds only use 1, max 2, rogue’s, only for improved expose.
High end guilds only use 1 Hunter, for pulling.
High end guilds only use 1 druid in raids. For purposes like motw, combat ressing, faerie fire and innervate. Their hot’s are usually cancelled due to buff limit so it doesn’t push out the tanks world buffs.
High end guilds only use 1 warlock in the raid, for curse of recklessness.
Elemental and enhance shaman is a joke. So don’t waste your time on that.
Unless you want to play in a pepega guild where they use several classes of all classes, you should stick with it.
And here you See the typical classic Andy, be prepared folks! You sound like a real loser who has a very bad life, anyways, what is wrong with my Statement little Zug Zug? I said resto shaman and everyone want warlock and mages in their raid aswell as Warrior and rogue, he can choose any of these classes except a meme spec. So whats ur problem wannabe 99 parser gehennas chad warrior .
It’s fine, enhancers and healers get raid spots but Ele just runs out of mana so no one wants them (and also you yourself don’t want to play that unless you love being oom).
Enhancers are prone to rip threat and on the weaker side, but I raided with plenty of them throughout all raid tiers and I don’t think it’s a problem.
You can play any build, just make sure to actually attempt to minmax it if it is off meta, otherwise no one will want you.
If you want a free raid spot consider rolling a druid, no one plays them and people want to bring at least 1 for mark of the wild.
Idk I looked at a few Patchwork fights and it seems like that doesn’t really solve the mana issues.
Only the rank 1 seems to not down rank Lightning Bolt at all, and that’s likely due to the fast kill time.
In 95% of raids you will go oom every boss.
is natures swiftness. buffing crit chance to max 9-10% with lightening bolt. and improved mana and improved mana tide with decrease totem cost and range
while most 20+ talents are noob traps in dps . even if run out of mp you still smack something hard with enchanted auto attacks watch doesnt negate mp5
‘High end guilds only use 1 druid in raids. For purposes like motw, combat ressing, faerie fire and innervate. Their hot’s are usually cancelled due to buff limit so it doesn’t push out the tanks world buffs.’
I believe this has been changed with Anniversary Classic.
