WoW Classic - chance to critical hit is bugged

Google: Random Number Generator.
Random = random, that’s all there is to it.

I am a noob when it comes to the hit system in Classic but I know misses can’t crit so if you have 6% miss chance you will lose crit on those so to speak. And then there are other mechanics to. Classic use a weird system for hits with a hit table with different variables. And on top of that you have normal RNG that can basically make anything happen in the short term.

Focus on finding out these facts instead of going for the bug claim without any evidence.

Narcind, Takaminara I see You are now RNG specialist… I believe now You can explain me why does it generate 10% less crit ? Bodiesan, how can I prove it ? I’m just complaining for an issue that in my opinion exist, and I’ll not stop until blizzard confirm that everything is ok. And it might happen 1/100000 and I was unlucky. Thank You

Moreover In my opinion, system does count only variables from WBs, and inventory.

He is right though. A sample size of 100 shadowbolts means nothing, it’s too small to draw conclusions. Do a couple of thousand.

Easy for you grasp.
Take a 6 sided dice, roll as long until you get the expected distribution of 16,66666… % for each side.

Should give you an idea about sample size and might explain rng on the run. You will be super lucky to reach that distribution after 6 rolls (that would be the rng part then).

And to verify that you do it until you reached the expected distribution 10 times.

Google: “wow classic attack table” and read up on the subject.
It’s not as simple as you think it is.
You might find what you look for there.
As I said before it’s all RNG and you’re just unlucky.
