WoW Classic: Disenchanting bug

Hi

Disenchanting weapons (armour still seems fine) is currently bugged.

Character Sqi
Realm Mograine

Disenchanting weapons of required level as below and not getting expected results

01-10 L.Magic essence as expected
11-15 G.Magic as expected
16-20 G.Magic but should be L.Astral
21-25 G.Magic but should be G.Astral
26-30 L.Mystic as expected

I’ve now foolishly spent the majority of my gold testing this for you. As I said, disenchanting armour seems to work fine.

Any chance for a fix and a refund of the gold I’ve spent buying auctions that should have been profitable IF they gave the right essences, but as they didn’t they’ve cost me lots.

It says that you are right , but I think in Classic there is some overlap

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve checked various items in those level ranges, and all weapons that gave essences gave greater magic essence rather than lesser/greater astral essence.

Could just be very unlucky if there is overlap and I didn’t get it.
