Everybody knows that WoW peaked during WotLK. The story arcs in WotLK are closely aligned with WC3:TFT. Cata started the downfall of WoW in popularity. Cata also strongly revamped the “classic”/Vanilla zones. Isn’t it obvious that WoW Classic should end on WotLK? I stopped playing WoW during Cataclysm and returned recently, in Dragonflight. I stopped during Cata, BECAUSE IT WAS CATA. WoW Classic should end its content updates within the WotLK era. It seems so obvious and yet Blizzard is planning something else.
What point exactly are you trying to make here? You know you can end YOUR classic journey on WoTLK right?
Before you start no I do not play WoTLK and don’t intend to play Cata either, I have no horse in this race.
If you don’t wan’t to play Cataclysm Classic then stay away from it. No one is forcing you to play it.
I won’t be playing it either - just as I skipped Wrath of the Retail King, but it is clear that enough people want to play Cata Classic according to Blizzard. Let them play the game if they enjoy it.
Im fine with people being allowed Cata. But why we not allowed to keep Wrath Era - this is the error!
True. But that topic belongs to the Wrath forums, not gonna open that one here
