I am returning player and would love to ask just a few minutes of your time to ease the pain of searching countless of threads what are the CORE and very basic differences in landscape or raids/dungeons regarding difficulty and in particular hunter class.
I will play as Night elf hunter on Wow Classic just renewed my Sub. I would LOVE to know why WAS classic so hyped and why did people stressed difficulty in such extent.
Can a veteran tell me in short sentences what I can I expect drasitically different here instead of venturing straight away to the normal version of game? I heard you can die with EASE of pulling more than just 2 mobs at same time or even 1 ? Is that true, is that brutal?
There has to be something that is luring players in. I really want to know why ,you don’t need reply a lot, just short what is necessary.
Personally I wouldn’t play Classic, I would play TBC. Classic is a dead end, no chance of moving on when you get bored.
You can expect a long time to level, a very long time. Almost empty realms. The only thing luring players in is nostalgia, most don’t play more than a few hours a week at 60.
Taking on more than one mob will eat into your mana and at low level 3 will end up killing you, even on a hunter.
i’ll be honest with you, most people who play classic are either gold sellers or gold buyers. gold sellers are
-top arena players that sell arena boosts or even sell high rate arena teams.
-top pve players that run gdkp raids and sell the gold.
-top guilds that sell raid items and then sell the gold.
-no lifers that are farming to sell gold cus they’re only playing to get cash out of the game. Gold buyers are
-those who want to have gear without putting any effort into game play
-those who want to save time & secure the chance to get the items they want without farming.
-those who play normally but don’t have time or don’t want to farm gold.
Classic&TBC both now are filled with bots & insane amount of real money trade, this game now looks like a Chinese farmer dream! and it’s going to the wrong way in every possible direction! the hype was only for first few weeks but then tons of players are gone(quit’d) & the rest are only raid logging or new players that has not realized the ugliness of wow.
you can start wow classic or wow tbc for trying it, but be ready for all it’s problems, & know that the game has no future.
There is a childish hype about the community, raw gameplay and the strive that you work together with your comrads. But now the servers was destroyed when tbc came out and we are basically restarting the servers by lvling again. The differ between retail and classic is the social aspect of the game, that is why there are so many crying for the dead servers, yet dont want to make a change, for the for the servers being dead. The bigest growing server atm is pyrewood village alliance.
In terms of difficulty?
The leveling is harder, but that’s mostly down to the fact you don’t have heirlooms/abilities / higher damage / have to drink after every pull.
Leveling a warrior/paladin is pretty much auto attack until 60.
People tend to play TBC or classic for the community as well though.
If you’re hoping for challenging raids? (At least in classic) you’d be waiting until at least AQ/Naxx for a bit of a challenge.
Have you never read or heard about the copyright rules? They will never shut down as long as they make a profit on it. Thats why the fake servers never win. The classic vanilla servers grow over time and when we hit “normal” worms like those people will come back.
i dont like you , toxic tpyical , lol dead end, very long time empty realms, that was not my question but of course as expected, i disagree its nostalgia only and how can you possibly know that most dont play more than a few hours a day. yes it will maybe but i prefer hardcore solo play over easy mode in retail.
you are always negative typical example of wow user with immense toxicity and replying contra thread with other things that are not true even or meaningful
