so, how does it help now? when a lot of people rushed their way to 60 and flooded auction, economy and everything with high level mats.

Why would one want to rollback players XP when it wasn’t their fault? I wouldnt even know if it was a bug if I done it so imagine how furious I would be to see some of my XP gone when I log in. And why are people acting like it’s some HUGE bonus they got? It was still reducing the XP gain because of extra members, it was just not reduced enough. So why dont people just sthu and enjoy the game. Its like all the sudden everyone was going for WFs “ohh thats why they got there first! They abused amg i still would have had a chance!!!” give me a break. If you are the one just playing for the sake of playing and not even going for top 10, then sthu and mind your own business.

Well, if it was a bug, then so be it. I have nothing against those who levelled with cleave meta, but it kinda hurts open world experience.
This is the least of our problems…

So, lets say Blizzard miscalculated the quest xp, and in 3 weeks it turns out you got 5% more xp than you should have, without knowing it. Do you then deserve a ban as well?
I absolutely love how people flip out over this. It didn’t “ruin the economy”, it didn’t change the world first race (Both Method and APES, the only guilds who realistically had a shot at it were doing it).
Here is a completely new Theory: The only people who are now crying to high heaven, are the ones salty that they didn’t get to use it.

everyone was forming raid groups to aoe farm dungeons all the weekend. you couldn’t even find anyone for a normal run because since 28 people start spamming graveyard

so a couple hundred thousand players got 2 stacks more silk cloth, and some extra levels. How exactly does that “ruin the economy”? I am currently doing normal 5man cathedral runs. In one run I got 2 stacks of cloth. Am I ruining the economy as well right now?
Oh, and may I point out that layer hopping still exists, and people are starting to get into the zones where there is black lotus and Thorium Veins? I don’t hear you complain about that.

It not about miscalculation, its about to keep an exploit / unfair advantages for selfish purposes, what do you ting guilds doing WF for fames ? Of course not its about streaming and sponsors money nothing else.
They even probably use layering exploit for the hydraxxian reputation at silithus.

Just roll back XP of those people that used exploit and delete all items that they got after recalculated XP.

Too much work, a ban its easier and faster.
And HC players dont care about it, in less than 2 week they will be up and ready for MC again.
