I’m talking about ‘‘LFM Gruul’s lair must be all epic purples’’, even though it is mind numbingly easy and designed to be done in blues. Also talking about '‘You must be this spec and neither of the other two specs otherwise no guild will touch you with a barge pole’. WoW classic could’ve been really fun but min/maxing ruined it.
Try a PvE server
Agree and thats why I am happy I experienced this game back in the original days.
Before min / max, boosting, GDKP and all that garbage.
The reason they won’t touch you is that you are level 60 and Gruul’s lair is level 70.
this is not a new concept, back then in retail people asked for a certain gearscore threshold. so this has nothing to do with classic… this has always been here. and in my opinion this is not a bad thing, people get older and are having a job and a second job (wife and kids) so most people don’t like to waste time.
It definitely existed then but nowhere near to the extent it does now. Back then wiping was part of the fun and you took the nice noobs in your guild along to raids as a fun thing to do so that they could experience the content. The elitism now was nowhere near as bad back then.
Times change.meme
Back in the days we bullied people who were a tryhard as they were ruining the fun for the majority, now they are the majority
true, but gaming did also evolve alot the past 12 years you can see this gameplay style in almost every online multiplayer game. the best thing to do is finding a guild that matches your game style and have fun and there are plenty.
