I’m so glad I resubbed before doing this update that is stuck at 0%, looking at my money going down the drain. It’s 2022 and we fail at an simple update btw <3

I’m having the same problem too -
My desktop PC isn’t updating but oddly my laptop works ok which I don’t get as I used the desktop for wow yesterday and I’ve ran WoW on my laptop for weeks.
same here. Waiting on update after trying to pause it for whatever reason. also glad I rushed home from work for this. rip blizzard

I’m stuck in a “Repair-Loop”… when I tried the scan and repair function, it scans for ~10 minutes or so, then tells me “something wen wrong” and that I should try again.
If I try again, it keeps failing. :C
I tried the usual fixes, nothing worked, and when I tried renaming the World of Warcraft folder to do a clean install it got stuck at “intializing”

Same issue here…
I had the bad idea to think that it was only me before finding threads here
Uninstalled the game, trying to reinstall but it’s just stuck on initialization now.
All my friends can play but I can’t

Same issue, been waiting an hour now trying to download - being an old vet in this game I remember the times back at the start with issues like this and Blizzard would credit us day to our subscriptions - I wonder why they wont bring that idea back.

Same here, stuck on initializing. Was looking forward to a nice evening with the pre-patch. Expect at least some free game time for this.

Same here, been stuck for nearly 2 hours. Every now and then it’ll start downloading at like 150 bytes a second for a minute then get back to being stuck at initializing.

should not have anything to do, I can log in in to classic wow so I dont see why another game like CoD have to do with this one not patching
Its nice that blizz “does not notice” the problem that already persists for few hours.

I came home from work one hour earlier than usual just to be stuck in Updating.
One hour ago I tried this:
0% Updating, nothing is happening - > I closed Battle.net and opened it again → Now I am stuck at ‘Waiting for another update.’ - > I went outside with my dog for 30 mins. → When I came home, Waiting for another update is no longer there and it is 0% Updating again. → Now I am sitting at my computer, watching Battle.net and still stuck at 0% updating. → Whole process took more than one hour for me and still cannot play the game. It sucks, especially when you have like 3 - 4 hours playtime on workdays these days…Blizzard, fix it please.
