WoW is ageist

And what age is that op?

Older player here, so at what age is a person to old for WoW or gaming in general?

I’d say it’s when each individual thinks it is too much for them, we can’t expect for gaming to remain the same as it always was, and we can’t expect games we love to remain stagnant and not evolving, even if we are not happy in the way they change.

It’s like everything else in life, as you get older you adapt to different ways of doing things, Dragon Flying not great for you, then go for the old flying option. Raiding to fast paced now, then maybe give it up or do LFR. If there is enough in game to satisfy what each individual wants, then I would say there is no age limit to play WoW.

When you’re incapacitated, dead or lost your marbles.

Or put another way when you’re no longer capable of playing due to health reasons.

Well the grave will be calling soon at least thats the way you’re making it out to be, I mean don’t blame your skill issue on age you’re creating a barrier where there isn’t one.

Haven’t lost all my marbles yet, but there does seem to be fewer rattling around than previously, so I guess I’m okay for now

You say that now while you are still young. Wait til you are older and do not have it anymore but still want to play oen of your favorites games. Young people have no concept of time adn they think they are goign to live forever. Time is fleeting. It goes by quick.

When that day comes for you, and it will, think back at this comment if you can.

The only thing annoying about the flying is when they put an obstacle right on the checkpoint ring and you hit it and stop literally dead in your tracks, or if you lightly graze some water/ground with the feet of your dragon and it just lands…

The complete lack of physics and instant dead stops makes it frustrating. That said, getting bronze allows you to basically stop a few times during a run and still complete it, getting gold only requires not crashing and stopping. If they made gold easy enough to unable to be failed, it becomes entirely meaningless.

About age - My mother is 66 years old and successfully plays 2D Super Mario games to completion on the Switch, which requires more skill than this.

When I reach the age where I can’t play such games I’ll find ones that match my abilities, but I won’t ruin the fun for others.

I quit ones like CoD and LoL because the fast pace messed up my hands. I didn’t ask for them to be nerfed so I’m not at a disadvantage.
