I find it nonsensible that op said to be returning player, indicating he hasnt been involved in the game for while, then proceeds to make statement that game is simply only awesome and not understand why other people would have anything negative to say about the game. It is nonsensical to say as some who hasnt been playing or involved in the game on their own words. Not to mention the matter that this is the games forum and platform where people will come express their opinions and thoughts on the game, so where else they would say negative or positive thoughts they have of the game than in here if they would wish anything to change, criticizing people pointing out things they would like to be changed in the game is not sensible thing to be critical about, or even less sensible would be to try tell others they shouldnt express their thoughts of the game any other than positive light, the whole thought is nonsensical.
If he really just wanted to make positive post he could just made it declaring his own opinion of âi like wow it is bestâ and leave out the parts where he says how he thinks others are wrong according him to criticize anything in the game on the games forum and all that. Nothing will never change related any game if none would never express anything they would wish improved on it.
I mean, you only need to look at the video that was released by Blizzard yesterday on YouTube. I struggle to find a single negative comment. Itâs nothing but love and people being proud to have been part of the journey for the last 20 years. Also, contrary to popular belief, there is now absolutely no way to see dislikes on YT so there is no way to back that up, but they sure do get a lot of âlikesâ.

I want stats to the contrary to back up the other side, in that case. Since the vocal minority/rando on the internet seems to think that WoW is more disliked than liked.
Then again, anywhere between 5~7 million subs begs to differ. Spoiler: people tend not to pay for optional things in life that they actively dislike.
The problem with comparison between wow and League_of_legends is that what people pay and play for are different
In League its very well known due to the openness of devs like August that skins are the biggest profit margin for the game, like more than 80%! You dont farm league to get better gear or progress your characters as you start every game lvl 1
In wow you farm gear and complete content to get the cool loot and transmogs, but if we went to F2P what exactly would blizzards profit be from ? People in wow dont often want to wear pay for cosmetics, they want to show off the gear they earned and things that they âdidnât pay forâ
Although i do think some of the real money shop is pure greed on wow (payed for level up will always disgust me in a mmorpg, its so disingenuous to the game even years later) . The shop would need to sell something all players wanted to swap to f2p and I dont think that wow could just âcopy riotâ for results.
I do however think paying a monthly sub is enough reason for players in wow to get salty about the real money shop, its a game youâre supposed to earn your upgrades and play to get things. Basically blizzard choose to do both and it does effect the game.
You can dress this up however you like, but youâre wrong. Under no circumstances are you ever forced to do anything on WoW because youâre not forced to play it. The sub has been in-place and fairly priced for a very long time; if this is something you canât get to grips with then once again, donât pay it and donât play it.

I think the state of game is much better, still enjoyable. However development and improvement progress is still slow. There are still many features that do not make sense or useless for players. There is still room for many improvements. Warband system is amazing that should be added many many years ago. For me, WoW is on the right path, just needs changes to be implemented faster.
