Can’t you roar as human?
@Jito: 100% this.
“I hate BfA” = Cool kid.
“I like Bfa” = Blind, white knight, Blizzard fan boy. Guess we can add your “idiot” as well to the list.
I never claimed Bfa to be “the best expansion 4evar”. Does it have flaws? Of course it does. Yet despite all that, still enjoying the video game has apparently earned me the title of an “idiot”.
Yeah. How dare the idiot pays the sub and actually e…e…enjoys the game? Like omg?! I should be paying the sub and bashing Bfa and Blizzard on the forums like “everybody else”.
So yeah. I don’t waste real money on a game which I despise and only sit on the forums and troll it. Hmm…I wonder who is the real “idiot” here.
P.s Also people who disagree with your opinion doesn’t automatically become “idiots”. But I guess that’s some “higher philosophy” we are talking about.
So anyway, what the OP means to say is that WoW Classic is increasing WoW subscriber count? Well doh.
Absolutely. I find it the height of hilarity that people will accuse others of being morons for enjoying BFA, whilst they pay blizzard money despite hating the game.
"I’m waiting for classic or 9.0"they say. Well surely you can do that from months closer to their release, so who’s the real mug here? The one who makes some positivity out of something they’ve spent money on, or the one who spends money on nothing but a hope of a promise?
The thing I’m that irks me is all the throwaway statements “only about 5 ppl subbed for bfa” “we know that bfa is the worst” “90% of players hate it” where are people pulling this rubbish from? They speak of opinions as if they’re facts and then use their negativity saturated reddit echo Chambers to upgrade them into something verbatim.
If I spend all my time in a flat earther forum, I’ll probably be of the mind the earth is flat, and I’ll have seen some nice graphs or scientific figures that look real to convince me its true. It doesn’t mean its true however. And calling people who disagree the earth is flat “idiots” and refusing to enter them In discussion doesn’t make what Im saying any more true either.
Or Rise of Azshara
But this means very little in the grand scheme of things moving forward.
Classic is coming in less than 16 days. Blizzard have their many other games and “fun” is not concrete.
What you might deem fun for you, might not be fun for me. It’s impossible for any company to create a game that will fit everyone’s niche. I haven’t enjoyed BFA, but I wouldn’t say I hated it. I hated WoD. I only played 2 months of it and I quit. I still haven’t got flying for WoD zones.
I haven’t done that with BFA.
Ok then mate!
Or both the Classic beta and the .2 patch, according to the Blizzard communique which you provided as source, right? Or wait, does it only sound true when it fits the narrative?
In my opinion there are so many factors which can influence the subscriber numbers , that we shouldn’t try to pin point it out selfs
But isn’t that what you did when you stated that,
We don’t have to. Blizzard hath spoken, and according to their statement Classic and .2 have increased sub count.
No, at least not according to basic logic. If in the statement A and B are singled out as being responsible for X is true, it stands to reason that A is responsible for part of X and B is responsible for another part of X. In this case, if you consider Blizzard’s communique as true, and as a few people in the thread pointed out already there is no reason to not consider it true since it would indeed be a federal crime to lie in their investor report, then the statement “Classic beta increased WoW subs” is strictly true.
Which in turn means that all I did was to make a true statement, based not even on sources provided not even by me but by the OP, which he then decided to all of a sudden question, after they were the basis of his entire argument in this thread.
I do find it hilarious how as soon as it contradicts some bs some of you people state, your own sources are no longer to be considered and you start rationalizing in such weird ways.
Trial of the Crusader was a bad instance to be honest. It felt like thievery, it had nothing to do with the lore and how does a Godlike bug end up under a circus. The bosses were almost as dull as boring as my tinder matches. The pvp bosses were a disaster, not because they were hard but because it was just boring and dreadful). Total chaos on the pitch.
The instances and fights could’ve been more fun it was introduced by the Darkmoon Faire as a ‘test your strength’ but without the Anub’Rekhan fight and more of a side patch like: Happy holidays!
I was talking about the people who claim it’s only because of classic
Huh? When, when you replied to me or you’re telling me this randomly?
What about this ?
What about that?
Do you think Blizz cares? They avoid taxex in half of Europe countries and put their games under companies from Malta and other “tax free” places. Blizzard own hundreds of millions in tax…so you think that lying about WoW subscribers increase is a issue for them?
Because the real exact numbers show that the population decreased. That’s why.
Well, no offence, but when you say to someone that the wall is white and he continues to think its blue, then how can you call that person?

I cannot have this conversation with you, sorry.
Sorry but you in the wrong place to have this discussion.
Activision Blizzard are a US company, in the US it is crime to report misleading info to investors. This is the point Jito was making and he/she is correct.
What they do elsewhere, what taxes they do, or do not, pay are not part of this discussion.
Lots of big companies have many many ways to reduce the tax they pay in individual countries, none of them illegal.
If you want to take up the tax issue then that is an issue for the government of each country involved. So your best point of contact would be you local parliamentary representative.
That’s my only say on it.
