No they don’t. They actively try to ban bots. I got banned for botting because they tuned up the bot detector and it somehow picked up my PC as un-supported software. The problem is that Blizzard are not fast enough with the bot bans.
Thats how I felt in FFXIV when I started out at Limsa. Saw the chat and simply thought “the 
did I just download and log into”. Quickly learned that Limsa’s chat is… Limsa’s chat and leave it at that. 
Well why do you wear tier 3 when you did not earn it but bought it?

It’s just very hard, because I can show this image:
It has money, gold, and things you can buy with gold. The whole value chain is there from wallet to gold to boost.
And then you all go:
“That’s not P2W! There’s no advantage! Have you considered the philosophical meaning of winning? And who even cares what other players spend their money on? And are those players even good players anyway? I bet they’re all just n00bs who don’t know how to interrupt! So how are they winning if they are still n00bs? And how is it paying for a win if I can do it in the game by playing?!”

Absolutely, you have to define what a win actually is before you can label something as pay to win. I have already said that if you consider mounts, mogs etc as your win condition then yes WoW is P2W.
Yes, because what I consider as P2W directly related to power. In WoW you cannot use power if you have low skill. In the game you like to bring up, DI, the power is there regardless.
Have seen my fair share of them and I can say that they are in fact noobs.
Exactly how is it P2W when I can A) do it myself and get farther B) farm the gold myself and buy the boost.
No I look at your image and I laugh at you because you are so desperate to score a “win”, that you will resort to name calling, dodging obvious questions and flat out making up facts because your general knowledge of how the game works is so lacking it’s laughable.

Elahra already made you the offer of giving you their character to see how you fair in high end content. I am doing the same, log on to my priest which is very close to BiS geared and has the rating to get invites and see how you do in +6 even. Buying boosts and items doesn’t mean anything if you cannot back them up. My prediction is a thousand deaths to a single swirlie.

And here is the flaw in your argument but that crayon diet of your keeps getting in the way.
It doesn’t produce the results and we have explained it countless times, but for some reason you keep failing to refute that argument.
I can give you fully geared character, I can funnel you gear, I can boost your through mostly everything(can’t actually boost you through Mythic raids because I’m not good enough) for free, you ca have all the gear and still fail miserably, you can have all that and you will still not complete a single key/raid because people can see that you are boosted.
But hey you got some mounts and achievement and if that is something you value as winning then sure you paid your way to a win. Gratz.
If I spend 20 bucks for 390k gold and take that gold and buy an in-game Heroic Fyrakk boost, am I not getting that?

The term P2W is an invented gamer-term to describe a business practice that emerged with online gaming. It’s like 1337 speak. It’s not like there was a philosophical discussion amongst peers about the true meaning of elite.
It’s just descriptive.
And it’s disingenuous to pretend otherwise.
