I wonder in wow lore history, who were the true paladin who never break their law and do evil things, I don’t mind if they did mistake a little long as they accept and learn.
I say Tyrion Fordring or Uther.
And Gavinrad the Dire. He was mighty.
Uther, to me, will always be the paragon of what it means to be a Paladin:
“Remember Arthas, we are Paladins: Vengeance cannot be a part of what me must do. If we allow our passion to turn to bloodlust, then we will become as vile as the Orcs.”
This is one of my favourate qoutes from the Warcraft setting.
(And a contextualization about “vile Orcs”, before people yell “Hypocrisy!”: He said this not long after the Second War; when,to humanity, the Orcs were demon-crazed monsters from another world. And at the time he and Arthas were fighting a band who were still sacrificing farmers to the Legion. I’m sure he would have given a different example if he was still alive today.)
Definetly Uther and Tirion. Tirion though is my favourite because I’ve always been an Argent Crusade fanboy, and it’s how Desartin started out.
Even after everything Arthas had done, Fordring wanted to end him quickly, and his sense of self-sacrifice was so big he was prepared to put on the Helm of Domination. It’s really a shame that he died so quickly in Legion just to give us the Ashbringer.
Tirion is miles ahead of Uther.
Uther tried to play all kinds of games to keep Tirion in their tree house after he got voted out for some shenanigans but Tirion simply did the right thing and said: yeah i broke the rules bye
Uther fanboys owned
Tirion represent the class the best overall but Uther do represent the ‘‘Human’’ version of the class very well.
Not everyone can follow a ideology to 100% and that is what it means to be human.
I have always liked the Turalyon approach as well being the more ‘‘Human Warrior using the Light’’ instead of more the morally guided type which seemed more common during the foundation at the Second War.
Sir Loras of Lakeshire, squire to the legendary Uther the Lightbringer. He was so pure, it is said that he never lay with another – instead, he was known for his great friendship with Sir Lotheridan Hartford.
Yeah Turalyon is a good character for the more zealous human type (except the Scarlets, we know they’re quite zealous but they’re the bad guys :3), he and Alleria were quite the torture duo in Shadows Rising
Alexandros dunks on Tirion and Uther easily.
Sir Zeliek.
Arthas, for he was the only one of them who did nothing wrong.
Truly, rerolling was the answer all along.
I believe Xahneras
Lady Liadrin, the Last Ashbringer
They were roommates, the poetry found under Lotheridan’s pillow was just friend stuff between two cool guys.
Uther should have done a better job explaining when he taught Arthas the ‘Turn Evil’ spell.
“I have failed you Anak-- Arthas. I have failed you.”
Rumours that - upon the death of Loras - Lotheridan proclaimed life no longer had value and wanted his bones buried intermingled with those of his dear friend only serve to reinforce what great buddies the two were.
Arthas always had the high ground because he had a horse.
it was me
it was, but it still is
