Wow on Ipad?

My old Ipad is to be replaced. It’s gonna be an Ipad Air.
Screen size and storage yet to be determined.
Now my question is if Wow is playable/available on this platform.
It is not for regular play, but for checking things and so while watching tv or other things.

On mobile? no

You can play on your phone/tablet using Geforce Now…

Don’t even need a good device to use it.

Only drawback is there’s no addons as it’s all streamed cloudside

Really? How?

Just said the app’s name: “Geforce Now”

Works fine for casual play.

GEforce has some addons but they vary, it’s a limited list of the most popular ones.

Yeah noted on that, think it’s a paid for feature.

Yeah probably. I haven’t used it myself but we had a couple of raiders that used it when raids were generating a huge amount of lag for them.

What you’ve ALL decided to miss out, is that Geforce Now, is cloud streaming the game to your device, while the game is being run on a computer with that hardware.

It would be impossible to play WoW with the phone’s hardware. Only through a “streaming” providers, would it be possible on mobile devices.

I don’t think anyone has denied it’s cloud gaming.

There are a couple of services for it, GEForce NOW is probably the most commonly used one.

Yes, you have to do it through the cloud, though. GeForce Now will cap you at 100 hours a month, but Boosteroid will not, and it’s cheaper.

Just by yourself, a Steamdeck and play through that.

Yes, just buy an overly priced device after getting an iPad, which will fix your issues. :joy:

If your country has Nvidia geforce now then it is playable provided you have a sub with Nvidia geforce now

Ok, but why do you want to play WoW on an ipad?

You’re going to be limited to solo content only, as you’ll be a hindrance to any group due to movement/ability use etc.

There are times I’d love to chill on the sofa doing stuff on wow that requires no big input. Sounds great.

All the popular add-ons, DBM, etc., are on the cloud. It’s almost like these things were sorted out because players asked for them. Why would you discuss alternative options when you’ve never used them? The latency isn’t even an issue because the entire internet is run on the cloud. :joy:
