I’m playing properly with a controller, thank you very much. Neither ConsolePort, nor any other controller-related addon would add anything for me.
If my memory serves me right (that would be a first) I once saw someone play wow with a steering wheel.
Optimal? Nah, but looked fun.

If Blizzard/Microsoft added x-box 360 controller support (which is already supported by Windows) for WoW then would it really be so hard/scary to import WoW to x-box? This was an idea I threw at Blizzard through the “submit suggestions” option in the ESC Menu over a year ago; that they add controller support for PC Version.
I’m sure there are people already out there who have modded “things” to support their own controllers in WoW, perhaps Blizzard/Microsoft should reach out to those people for a job opportunity…

In my original suggestion I also suggested that Blizzard added Key Combinations (combination button presses) to activate different things like action bars and various menu’s, much like in the original Diablo on PS1

Or perhaps if Microsoft really wants to save WoW, and the next expansion is good enough, they could release a special “X-WoW controller” - compatible with both windows and x-box, a bit like how Razer made their “Tartarus” controller but perhaps without all the expensive RGB lighting… designed specifically for WoW at an affordable price…
AND considering the keyboard/typing element would be removed (in controller mode), they could add an additional “chat menu” with multi lingual localisation support, much like what was present in the original Phantasy Star Online on Sega Dreamcast, whereby players could communicate with basic greetings, questions, answers, and general game related discussion topics in their native language, translated by the construct…
One more thing I will say is… Please GOD… if you are going to import WoW to X-Box, PLEASE make sure that the add-ons available for the windows version are also available on the x-box version, otherwise, there will be a lot of angry and upset people out there…
