WoW Players are very entitled

I just came back to WoW. Last time I played was Cata which I enjoyed a lot.

Being a fan of fast paced pvp, I left WoW for other mmos as Tera, AA and BDO, and oh boy. Playing other mmos than wow made me realize how passionate and caring blizzard is of wow.

Playing the other mmos was like being in an abusive relationship, you had p2w masked as "pay to convenience". Games being limited to frustrate you enough so you would swipe that credit card just to be able to carry more stuff. And so on.

So I came back to the faithful giant of mmos and I couldn't be happier of how it has progressed through out the years.

We need to appreciate this. Don't be petty..
Dremtor key point here is, you "just came back" so don't come here and judge the people who did stay here and seen the road this has taken. but nice try ;)
Yea I am forever wow player - tried other mmo too but not a single one close to wow
Imagine coming back in BfA after you left during Cata and think the game has gotten better.

Well I've been here for 2 weeks and I'm up to speed with the changes, bfa and so on.

Key point here is that you were too quick to judge ;)

Oh. I'm sorry. Sure, let me say that I LOOOVE how I have to go through the time-waster that is the Reputation Grind in order to get an Allied Race that I want, or how I ADOOORE that I have to play a Healer in order to do Mythic+ as a Shaman (Not a game problem per se, but still a gripe).

In fact, let us also ignore the fact that Legion had more stuff out of the gate than BfA, and that we have to wait for the patches to actually make the game feel anywhere close to complete.

Those games you played? They have their own problems, Blizzard and BfA have their own as well. Just because they don't share some of the problems doesn't mean we should forgive BfA. In fact, it's outrageous to suggest that in the first place.

Oh, and I have played over the years, and if you left Cataclysm and somehow think the game's gotten better, let me say this: Shaman Totem Bars and Loadouts. Or Warriors and their Stances, and so on and such.

Yes, the game overall is still fun to play, but don't try to sell me beans and say that they're raisins.

Point being is that it could be ten thousand folds worse than what it is, and all these whines about wow in general and bfa is very petty compared to how completely insane it is in other games. There's literally not a single p2w element in WoW, which there is whereever you turn in the other mmos out there. And that's just one example of how bad it is.

Someone is very triggered and proves my ts correct.

Btw, did you know that you can change which character to post from? This isn't my main. Not that it matters in this discussion but figured i'd mention it since you seem to love to jump to rash conclusions.
just want to say to op .. make the most of wow while it lasts if blizzcon is a sign of the future soon wow will be mobile p2w.

If you really think that is a good idea... Then I hope that the Gods have mercy on your soul...
He is Trying to say that wow is something special. Dude i agree. Even though how !@#$ty imbalance in pvp is, or how boring some content are. We will all have wow attached to us, somehow, forever. Its not "just a game i played", its a part of us. So many of us have hundreds of days of played.
If wow would be just a game, then ppl would quit instead of begging blizz for changes.
So you are right, but people dont complain because they are dickheads, they want wow to be fun and nice. Because its more than a game to many of us.
Mate. After playing Legion and getting BfA you'd be complaining too. Legion was just way too good compared to what BfA is right now. I really hope they can fix it.
WoW has issues. Those issues don't magically vanish simply because other games have worse problems.
OP likely doesn't understand what entitlement means I think.

I explain: entitlement is a trait shown early on in an experience where a player might say "I paid for it, now where's all my free stuff?" Free stuff meaning epic loot, easy 890ilvl, mounts and raid carries.

It also extends to players saying things like "I only get 2-3 hours a day to play WoW so I think you should make <x> content easier for me because I think I'm the majority here and I deserve this".

What you might actually be seeing are people's who's hearts have been broken time and time again by Blizz. We play our own game inside wow, ignoring the major stuff generally because we're self aware enough to know how much of a real time waster it is since this game is now riddled with fast-food style content. We complain on the forums asking for small changes or reverting systems to their once former glory of which we all unanimously agreed was better than now.

We know how good the game can be and we know how their ideas which could well be strides of huge innovation are stifled by greedy CEO's.

I mean what boggles my mind is that I thought Blizz were ultra liberal leftist feminist social warriors and here they are defending a largely greedy, mega capitalistic cooperation because it's plastered in smiley cartoon faces. Weird right?

Every game has issues, some just have more than others.

I hear you there, I've being playing LOTRO with the past two years and it is gone totally P2W. Before that I played WOW up to the end of WOD on a US server. Starting back here now but at least you pay your sub and thats it.
