Dunno how good that data is, but it shows that BfA has been much more popular than Legion so far. We’re now down to the same level that Legion was at the same point in the patch release cycle, but BfA high point was much higher than Legion over the first six months.

Interesting. The forums are full of “BfA has killed WoW” posts, but it looks like the opposite is true and BfA has been great for WoW and Blizzard. BfA has run out of content for now, will be interesting to see if we get close to 5m subs again with 8.2.

Classic will decline as well. Only die hard fans will remain in classic…

I blame the “influencers” and their fans.
Outrage sells and they are well aware of it.

On the other hand, BfA content releases are much slower than they were in Legion, so more people are out of things to do by now.

OK, so these people are correlating external numbers from Reddit and other things …

The figures aren’t even accurate "How many people are currently playing the game each day. This is based off of our MMO population algorithm, and not an exact number. "

I will explain my statement, you see now is June and classic will launch in August.
So now sub count might be lower cause it’s a classic waiting room and some gave up on retail, cause plan to main the old new game :smile:

Hope it’s now obvious what I meant.

True, but new content dried up (apart from mini raid) quite a long time ago. My guess is that the new devs Blizzard are hiring will be increasing the frequency of new content patches in WoW 9.

The recent lay offs from activision. They stated they will increase the devs in the main franchises by 30% including WoW.

Classic is objectively the better RPG game. All of the RPG elements are in that game.
BFA and Legion are slot machines.

BFA is better in class design, cinematics, graphic and a lot of things, but it’s still the worse RPG game which is the whole point of this game to begin with.

We lack community, social interactions (good or bad, its what makes the world alive and what keeps players coming back), character progression.
