That may well be but until Blizzard starts with better tooltips, Wowhead and other websites like this will remain extremely useful.
They never had, itâs better than it sued to be though.
You overestimate the value of what was posted.
TLDR - Private company edits itâs own site. Children cry.
They all do it, get nasty and ban. Crime is not agreeing with them. Nothing like saying a truth they donât want out there to get banned, thread locked or forum posts deleted.
If you were lying or wrong they let you post for days. As soon as you point out a truth that canât be attacked and they made a error. Out comes the ban hammer because they canât be wrong. It hurts their business.
I donât know much about wowhead.
I mean, I dont expect anything to change and im now over it. It was annoying at the time and I still think its bad, but people are entitled to their own opinion. So alot of people agreed with me. Alot of people didnt like what I had to say and then came to tell me. Alot said if I see something I dont like I should scroll on by. But in their posts proved its easier said then done.
I didnt get offended by your opinions, even that negative ones. I took it on board and thought âhmm, this this change my opinion?â In the end it didnt but I valued you having your say. If you just shut down people without letting them have their say, nobody learns anything and all you hear and see is your own opinion, which I guess is less scary.
My final point is that the word stupid is so light on the offensive scale, it makes me think someone at wowhead is maybe a little sensitive, or getting paid.
You have obviously never read the feedback that actually gets posted on the wowhead news articles. We arenât speaking of harassment hereâŚ
op you gotta realise that Wowhead is exactly like Wikipedia, they own it, its a âprivate companyâ they can do whatever the f*** and hire whoever they want, from helpful mods to strict ones.
Where did I say I didnt understand that?
Iâm a free speech absolutist, so yes, it really does to me.
You have no right to not be offended. Offense is subjective.
Well why donât you make a new site about WoW and then we compare it to Wowhead.
I like Taliesin and evitel wow content
But i stopped following the twitch stream because tali talks to much about politics
I donât watch there stream to hear about politics
I watch for wow content
Twitch is the only place where i donât wanne hear about politics unless its a politics channel
But you didnât say that, by your own account you called him an idiot.
Thereâs two ways of saying things. You could say I donât like his content so I am not going to watch him or, I think heâs a gibbering idiot and his content is rubbish.
Both are saying the same thing but one is doing it in a polite constructive manner and the other is just being rude.
This has nothing to do with âfeedbackâ as you like to put it.
Just donât harass the content creator?
You can simply avoid looking at the articles on WoWhead.
I would ban rude people as well, Donât need such toxicity
Was about to post this⌠their site , their rules donât like it donât go on there, think you can do better⌠well go on then.
Thatâs a fair point if it was said to the person himself.
But it wasnât said to the creator. It was said to a site he was on.
The word idiot is barely rude and certainly when itâs not even being said to the person. Heâs in the creator sphere Iâm sure he has a thick skin and knows and doesnât care people donât like him
I like him cos heâs honest entertaining and positive. Who the hell is vox?
There is never a valid reason to ever write such a word.
If wowhead does not want such posters on their site then it is fine.
Just act like a decent person
Itâs THEIR site. They can silence those people there. Thatâs not a disgrace.
i think the owner of wowhead is some kidâŚhe has banned several countries from accessing the site and i am guessing its because he didnt like them âŚidk
