Europe has no codified, true freedom of speech in most places. Sorta like the US likes to claim it does, but it’s chronically violated anyway.
I have seen such comments on the eu forums as well in the past, not even that extremely long ago. And outside of the wow forums you see plenty of european people do that as well.
Some people think freedom of speech means freedom of concequences and everyone haing to deal with insufferable idiots like them without being allowed to dislike them
I only use wowhead to look up items/achievements/quest and don’t bother with anything else. I don’t like their political affiliation, so I don’t read anything they post. Furthermore, I used to be a regular with over 6k rep.

Precisely, thats why its always so amusing when people are whining about "muh freedom of speech"when they got banned on some website. Especially when its due to trashtalking someone

Being banned by them just means you cant create an account and post comments to the articles but you are still able to access and read them.

So you dont think its valuable for everyone involved if you can say when you dont like something? Dont you think thats feedback that makes for a better service for customers and ensures that your site or business or whatever is still relevant.
This is one example. But extrapolate that out and then you have a problem. Its a problem for us just now as a consumer but as everything people vote with their feet. If you cant inform people of the change you want, eventually someone will have enough and make something better.

Its Worthless Critic, because its OBVIOUS, when u are Advertising content to MILLIONS, there will be a audience who dislike you. so it goes without statement that EVERYONE is AWARE theres a audience who DONT like the content creator their featuring.
feedback is for improvement. your making critic in a catagory which they cannot improve, therefore it falls down to mindless bashing or spam posting.
the reason they work with MULTIPLE Content creators, is so they have SOMETHING for everyone. there is no group of Streamers, Everyone likes. full stop. its Not something thats rectifyable.

You seem to be missing the point, perhaps on purpose.
I openly stated people can do whatever they like and clearly people like him. That’s cool not everyone has to like everyone. Also I dont particularly hate content creators btw.
The post isnt about him. Like I said, dont care. I normally avoid him and can be happy. I wish him and his fans the best.
My issue is when wowhead dont like something, they go full napalm and mass delete comments or turn them off altogether. And thats a problem for me as I think doing something like that over a word like idiot is overkill. I also dont agree with it on the grounds of it doesnt give fair representaton of something (aka like how people felt about diablo immortal). And the worst thing of it all is even though I dont like these things there are limited other places to go.
So essentially its their way or the highway. That sucks.

WoWhead is Assossiated with WoW. if u beleive its good for their site to allow these sorts of things to remain on their sites concerning Content streamers who are ALSO assossiated with WoW, is prolly NOT a good move. its very obvious to why.
