WQ (and more) gold rewards nerfed by 90%!

For about 2 days lol back to nerfed rate now :frowning:

Not entirely unlikely they wanna point them towards the token option for gold making

We are in TWW m8, just the leveling is not added yet.

Two weeks early… but ok

If we were in the TWW, then we would all be levelling, very clearly we are not. No one would care if there was something else to do, but there isn’t. I really need to think about my choices when paying for so much sub time in advance.

bfa lfr rewards per run ( 3 bosses) were also reduced significantly, before pre patch it was like 1k+ for 1 chapter in lfr, now it is around 300g

If you can afford the time to get the gold for token every month, you have the time to get the 15 dollars a month.

there has been no honor/conquest points reset, so I guess it is still dragonflight.

Technically we are in TWW, because the game version is now 11.*

Lets not pretend this is rocket science, you just don’t like the answer

amazing logic!
kthxbye!

They nerfed even the war chests , they use to drop a satchel with around 227 gold pieces .
Imagine how few players have actually wm , speechless decisions .

Blizzard says TWW is not released yet. I think they know more about it than you do.

We are in a beta phase. One where things are being tested to see what is broken. They could never have released TWW with the game in the state it has been since 11.0 came out. The only people who will have a reason to play right now are those that want a little gear on alts and/or finish off levelling a new character for the TWW, for when it actually releases. They have just lost a lot of beta testers, which bodes well for a smooth release.

Please apply some common sense.

Nobody can seriously suggest we’re in TWW, we don’t have access to the new zones, leveling and so on.

“Technically” ye Gods, this place.

From a technical point of view, we are in TWW. Most of the systems have been downloaded and applied to our clients. We are indeed in the phase where we just dont’ yet access new content. This is not unlike when a x.1 or x.2 patch hits but the raid and m+ season are not yet available the first week.

Yes, it’s a witch move to reduce gold from WQ and stuff. At least now Blizz made it easier to me on how to spend my time playing.

Again, apply some common sense.

The experience of zero people currently subbed is that of TWW. If they accidentally change the version to 15 does that mean we’re in Wrath of the Lich King Reloaded 2031?

Lived experience >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> “technically”.

On what planet?
You technically have abilities from DF at lvl 10, is this the same thing. By your logic it is.

When you have access to the TWW zone, the vendors and the quests, then you can say you have access to the expansion.

This is aside from the fact Blizzard is making changes at a pace that suggests kneejerk reactions. So what you see today will most likely not what you are paying for in 3 weeks time. Blizzard has regressed back to ignoring what they were told in the beta, and then implementing changes to see if the frogs in the boiling pots have calmed down.

Seems people don’t understand what “technical” means.

From a technical point of view, we are in game version 11.0.2. All content released under the major version 11 of the game is part of the expansion named “The War Within”.

Simply admit that you used the wrong word

It’s you with the comprehension troubles here. I’ll extend that to Sylvare as well, I can see him whipping up a nugget of (ahem) wisdom.

I’ll stop engaging with you now. I can see the “I’m still playing DF even though its TECHNICALLY TWW” is much hard.

We have access to the talent trees, when prepatch hits, the scaling of the new expansion is rolled out (and then often finetuned because things break)

to say we are not in tww because we don’t have access to the zones yet is a matter of perspective with all due respect

I consider the version number to be absolute, the fact that scaling and the new talent trees already exist to me states that we are already on the TWW framework, we simply do not have the full functionality yet like zones and the new max level range
but the code is here

Never go to bed angry
