Same issue here. I hope this is top priority because playing with messed up keybinds isn’t fun.

Any new update on this? It was a problem since the absolute last update on ptr.

You can be sure it isn’t. We already had two hotfixes for various stuff since Wednesday and the keybinds issue wasn’t one of them.
Btw Blizzard, it’s pretty offending that this topic has been marked as solved.

When you have to fix an ingame issue outside of it, it’s definitely not solved. It is just delaying a problem that will always be there if they don’t fix it in their own game.
“Resolved” in this case, just means that you received a Blue post giving you all the relevant information that they are able/allowed to give at that point in time, regarding the situation. It does not mean that the issue is fixed.

I tried the workaround but its not working - still having issues with my keybindings! German layout e.g.
‘+’ ‘#’ ‘^’ keys and more are not mapped correctly, please help
Am using an English keyboard layout and have to constantly keep changing the key bind # to ’ and back which i use for mount. Both work on the # which ofc they shouldn’t
its fixed for me today. 26.02 00:28. but please test your game next time on the ptr and listen to reports

Seems fixed now. But I agree with Alfbernt; please Blizzard, listen to PTR-reports and test yourselves. Remember that you do not have customers in the US exclusively.

Still broken for me. The whole keybinding interface doesn’t recognize input from ä, ö or § at all. You can type them into the ingame chat, but outside of that they do not work.

Azerty-user still having the above keybind-problems.
Any dev that hardcodes any keyboard layout should be smacked in the face with all the keyboards with alternative layouts.
And kicked out on the street afterwards.
How is it even possible that ‘keybinds’ and any other ingame feature use different keyboard-layouts ?
Keybind-f’ups (like hardcoding games to qwerty layout) have been enough for me to drop games and to never return to them.
Or is this just another “F*** EU”-moves ?

The keys register in chat, but when I go into the keybinding menu it’s as if I wasn’t pressing any buttons at all
Same issue here. ö,ü,ó, and similar letters, and several shift+ combinations just stopped working as keybinds. I can type everything in chat like normal, I can just not bind actions to those keys.
