On a WSG won game, you get around 300 rep (counting the turn in from the marks)
On a lost WSG game, you get from 10 to 140 rep. (with the catch being that close WSG games last a looong time). There are absolutely 0 alternative ways to get rep. Kills don’t give rep, no quests, no neutral mob in the battlefield.
Please fix this. I know items are not in yet, but having to win 15 games just to get from neutral to friendly is nightmarish.
Its not that bad with instant queues and 7 min wins because in a premade, takes under 2hours. Nothing needs to be fixed. Total grind well under 2 days played to exalted seems perefectly reasonable

AV is the anomaly, much slower in it’s original state. Not as bad as WSG. It is what it is though. No need to change anything.

it’s one thing to work for a rep, it’s another to have a rep requiring you to win 200 wsg in a row, with little to no reward if you so happen to lose one.
Farming rep is usually easy, you just need to grind. WSG rep is a gamble grind. No other rep works that way.
If you invest time in grinding, you will raise a rep. If you invest time in queing in WSG, you might get anything from 150 to 1500 rep from 5 bg.
That is not grinding, that is hoping everything goes well otherwise you wasted time.
Not gonna get changed. You’ll just have to bite down and do it the way it is now.
I got exalted WSG in vanilla with alliance pugs so there were a lot of losses, but perfectly doable.
Lol you don’t need to do it “in a row”. Yeah it’s long to get exalted rep and it should be, it’s supposed to be a grind, not some easy “do it for a few hours and you’re done”

on an alternate char i even got exalted in wsg during TBC and in TBC you couldn’t turn in marks for +rep, stop cry.
Why are you playing classic?! Long rep grinds were really part of it.
AB farming isn’t remotely comparable to this, since you actually get rep if you lose. I’m not saying the grind should be easy i’m saying the grind should be FAIR, which is a quite different concept.
If i farm or grind anything else for 1 hour, i know i get a set amount of rewards. With wsg, it’s completely random. It’s the equivalent of a rep pignata. also, I don’t play retail, so if you want to turn every argument people got against your preconceptions with “hurr durr return to retail”, well, i’m sorry but that is not going to work
