Yeah im not sure why i’ve seen other warriors get confused about the meaning of normalisation too; it means that slower is better.
I cant post links here, but google “weapon speed normalization”.
They nerfed the slow weapons because they vastly outperformed weapons that was considered better by Blizzard, so something had to be done.
It was changed all the way back in 1.4, so spread the word because almost everyone plays incorrectly!

I’m reading what the pre-1.8(?) calculations were and had no idea. That gave slow weapons ridiculous OP advantage.
You’re still letting him get confused into thinking 2.9 weapons attack the same for mortal strikes as 3.3

Its about the scaling of AP and not about the instant attacks themselves.
My bad.
So yes, slower is always better.
As long as its stronger!

Yeah in fiery war axe’s case, unless the proc is all the time it’s not good enough.
To be fair though in my experience, procs are always frequent with weapons at that level.
WW axe if you can get it.
Honestly just save the fiery for when pvp is a thing and ppl start twinking and such then sell ah
