The whole shtick of the augvoker is that they can make the total damage be higher than with 3 regular DPS while also increasing the survivability of the group

WoW was never balanced but in the past challenging fights were about mechanics, not numbers, so imbalances were less relevant.
Nowadays most encounters are HPS/DPS checks while dodging circles, so there’s more focus on details.

People are saying give aug a proper support role so it isnt invading on dps spots.

Use my technique: do your M+ when noone else is. That way, you have so little competition that they’re basically forced to take you.

On the other hand last night i invited to my 17 nl 4 people all WHO Had Mains on 2800 WHO failed possibly every single mechanic possible :wink: and augument didnt help - more so he failed the most out of whole team ,

In vp 17 i had augment WHO didnt use tank BUFF a single time in whole instance correctly

Tbh from what i see augument is atm Class that worst most cluelees people Play . And honestly iplan to never invite one to my keys

Like in most MMORPG support always atracts worst players because unlike dps its not that visible on meters

It is very serious.
Started this back in SL season 4, when as arcane mage I didn’t get invites in 12s. Went on my survival hunter, get insta invites and doing the exact same thing.

I think you want to say “Meta classes attract most clueless people”. Because you can extend this to shadow priest as well, but worse: In 21s there are a lot of shadow priests that end up under the tank with the dps, cast close to 0 vampiric embrace, and they play with ST talents. But they have like 2.9k rio, just because pugs would rather invite a bad player playing a meta class, than someone who has been playing a non-meta class for ages, and knows that class in and out.

that was wild though . i remeber i leveld 2nd hunter then and first week in ZM greens i jumped straight into 16/17 by pushing my key while doing very decent dps :stuck_out_tongue:

Clearly Augmentation is busted, I was mimicking the people from +8’ keys that kick evokers for, according to their details, being “asleep” or awful.

That’s because most people dont realise that evoker is only as good as well they Play.

So if they Play like garbage evoker is actualy a hindrance because 3rd good dps could at leave carry a bit
