But still, as I said previously, I would have given up long before I got anywhere near 186 hours of my life!
Didn’t have to though. I guess I go riding around my on Invincible mount for a few minutes, before I throw up due to the awful modelling and pixelated textures.
But on a serious note, I have never understood peoples fascination with this mount. Why do people desire it so much?
As I said previously, I personally would have given up long before 560. But then again, I sat in front of my computer for about 8 hours straight a few months ago, fishing up Strange Gloop, and that is only 1 small example of the level of autism this game brings out in me xD
But good luck with Invincible farming. Here’s to a GM reading this a feeling pity on you for your next run HF
it actually exists in other games but blizzard doesn’t have this kind of tech yet you know a small indie company can’t afford that, it is called pseudo-random you start at true randomness and every time you don’t have success the chance goes up until you have success but it also works the other way around if you have to much success at something it also lowers your drop chance.
I suppose it’s a good way to get income for people that enjoy fishing.
I don’t mind fishing, but 0.07%
That’s just sadistic. And I’ve spent a week of my life on a horse.
Ah yes, the two types of farmers.
Hold on, girl, and lots of luck
…then again, this is very much true. I got the Pureblood Firehawk on first try and never knew it existed before, but have the same luck with Arthas’ horse as OP.
That is gamblers fallacy with the assumption that a the odds have changed after a roll.
What i wrote isn’t gamblers fallacy but rather than odds over multiple runs.
At 1% chance to get invincible there is 99% chance to not get it. Thus 0.99^2 chance to not get it in two runs and 0.99^69=0.5 chance to not get it in a set of 69 runs.
Edit: Quick check with a dice roller. With 69 1-100 rolls after 20 rolls there were 10 that had one instance of 100 and 10 without any instance of 100 so 50% chance to roll a 1%.
Did 229 rolls with 1-100 dice 20 times counting 1,2,3,4,5 independently. Got 95%,90%,80%,85%,95% so 89% chance to roll a 1%
Dropped to me on the 34th attempt. In the meantime, I found Phial of Putrefaction on the 43rd attempt last season and 47th attempt this season. RNG is RNG man, live with it.
Don’t make it an obsession mon, take everything in moderation, even WoW, if it drops, then it drops, if it does not drop, next time then. It is one of the most overrated mount in WoW. There are more beautiful mounts and interestingly many of them are not popular.
Its not that ugly. In wotlk, it was one of the best looking mounts. It is the same situation like when someone replays their favorite game from 20 years ago, and to them that old game is still as beautiful as years ago. Besides, it has great lore and has nostalgic value to me.
