To answer to this:
I did ICC H25 for the first time 3 years ago, and it it didn’t dropped then.
Later I did H25 about 10 times in total across multiple characters, and it didn’t dropped those times either.
Upon revisiting old content for collectables and profession recipes, I am doing vanilla/TBC at the moment, and will soon begin to include WotLK content in the rotation when current legacy content is mostly cleared for what I want.

The game had what? 70 flying mounts back then? And how many of those were recolors? Besides raid and profession mounts they were all gryphons/wind riders, drakes/protodrakes, hippogryphs and nether rays. Of course unique raid mounts stood out.
Nowadays the flying mount options are dramatically more diverse.

Dunno if you are doing this… But make sure you kill all bosses until Arthas is left, and then share that characters instance with your other chars. That way you don’t need to clear each time.
I personally farmed Invincible on 10+ chars a week for 2 years until I got it. 
My wife got it in 2.5 months 
Took me 6 years on 9 alts every Wednesday to get it to drop. Never seen it since , friend of mine decided to get the leggo on 4 plate alts , seen it drop 7 times. She still has the pics of deleted invincible reins. The message Are you sure you want to delete ?! DELETE

I don’t track it because I find it demoralising. I tend to farm mounts in batches until I get them.
I did try one of those add-ons once but iylt toldd me I was very unlucky and I decided I was happier not knowing.

Got invincible two weeks ago, been about 15 total tries - started playing WoW just before SL-prepatch
This does not work anymore. Blizzard changed this at the start of Shadowlands.

The mounts that I really wanted, I’ve had drop thankfully (Mimiron’s, Ji-Kun, Junkheap Drifter, Mollie).
I think it was removed from the game… or has become…invisible… 
not sure now many runs I’m on now.
If that’s the case, maybe it’s dropped 100 times

I’ve been farming it for years and am with you. Can only be arsed to do it on one char (weekly).

I got it while running it on three plate wearers (a DK, a Pally and a warrior) for the transmogs. I think if you run ICC with the intention of getting cheevs and mogs and pretend you don’t really want the mount, then you’ll fool ICC into giving it to you.
Did run the place a lot though, for all the achievements for the Glory mounts, Shadowmourne and the full plate sets.
The mount I’m really wanting is Blazing Drake from Dragon soul, getting quite tired of all the RP in there…
My Invincible farm came in about on schedule, about 100 runs. So did Mimiron’s Head.
Ji-Kun took almost 300.
I just got the Gikded Wader (pet) yesterday, after ~2000 attempts. I was thinking of giving up, but I had spent so much time on it … I wasn’t expecting it at the time, and I was like “What just happened?” when Rarity showed the toast. I just felt relief.

I got my Ominous Flame this week after months running around that cave on Timeless isle killing Flame Elementals. Every day it would only be half a dozen kills as spawn rates were too slow to wait around. Now on to Rundy Droplet, 1 kill on Garnia so far.
I tend to farm them regardless of looks apart from PvP cos I hate PvP more than I love mount collecting 
Fair enough. I’m not a collector. I just want the stuff that I like.
