You might try rated BGs? I hate arenas but love RBGs. I am getting pvp mounts this way.
It took me exactly 619 runs before it dropped for me. It was even painful at the end!
1200 throw before it drop not more not less

I think I had like 100 runs or so until it dropped on my pala in 2018. Was happy as it was one of my favourite mounts and had been farming a lot for it. Meantime still over 1k or so attempts for the rocket, and other mounts am farming. At least I got the tazavesh mount from so’leah after 82 attempts( out of which over half were done in the span of 5 days of farming gambit on my hunter on both hc and m + keys ) . When I fixate on something am pretty much crazy enough to fully focus on that until am done. I guess this is why I am the insane, hah xD .
Is now a bad time to tell you it was removed in 8.3?..

I did those for my artifact mage tower recolour. It was an awful experience. Don’t think I’ve ever set foot in there since

I wanted the Blue proto drake from Skadi so much and that one took me the most runs, like over 300. But i decided that that one was worth it, its awesome. Invincible isnt worth as i see it, the runs are too long and the mount is just ok.

To be honest, I have tried just once (today) and it didn’t drop. But after reading this, I think I’ll find something better to farm instead.

I was hoping to get you one, but it hasn’t dropped for me yet. After seeing how many attempts, I am not surprised now. I am slacking as usual tho

I got it on my 3rd run and then there was like 6 others who was rolling on it but I won got mimoron head in 2nd run also xD but throne of the wind mount I farmed with main 176weeks and then decided to do it with my alt and mount dropped was 2nd time I did it with my alt. Those are my lucky once. I have farmed over 400 mounts and sometimes im very lucky but sometimes i need to farm them for years.
I think it took me around 37 runs.
On the other hand i farm Mimiron’s Head for ages over 150 kills on 4 chars and still nothing.
Got Invincible pretty quick. I don’t really remember but I think it was 7 runs or something like that.
Biggest problem about the mount for me was, well is, that almost no race looks good on it. So the moment I got it and realised my character doesn’t fit it I never used it again.
i dont know if im just lucky
or if i haven’t been playing long enough to have something like this happen to me
but i have gotten some cool mounts by running them every wednesday on one character
or on the same character every day for dungeons but i havent been doing the dungeons that long

I know that feeling too well. Even when I mute the sound, it’s like I can hear it echo in my head. Can’t count how many times I’ve done Sunwell Platua on three characters each week. 2 hunters and 1 Warrior. and the drop rate of the bow is apparently 7%
