I donât really see how having 4k games is an insult? how else are you suppose to improve if you donât play alot and practise? I know you donât really need to do it on a DH because its so simple you can pick up and play so I guess thereâs that. The part you donât seem to understand is Mage canât win just stand standing there and spamming dmg alone, BFA was the exception of that because of comps like MLX and Greater Pyro which wonât be so prevalent in Shadowlands due to changes.
What you donât seem to realise is Mage atleast in RMP etc has to do alot of things while being trained all game and disrupted, if I stood there spamming Frostbolt in 3s as a Mage in RMP Iâd just lose by default every time because the enemy healer will just out heal the dmg. Something a DH has the luxury of doing every game⌠run at the enemy and spam your dmg rotation, burn off CD and use your kick and micro ccâs to stop casts. Like I said if you think its so simple go lvl a Mage play RMP and tell me how it goes for you, I played DH to 2k in Legion got bored of running in and doing PvE dmg and stopped playing the game for awhile so atleast I speak from SOME experience on the class, unlike yourself.
Thereâs that delusion again, Iâll say it again for you, incase you didnât understand⌠playing a Fire Mage in MLX was stupidly easy you shouldnât use that as a measuring stick on what a good or bad mage is, youâll see alot of Mages that got 2400 in BFA struggle to break 2.2k in Shadowlands because they never learned how to CC properly while under pressure all game or how to kite properly without a Warlock saving them with spam CC. Thats the primary reason why I personally avoided that comp, I wanted to learn and get better as a Mage and I wouldnât have gotten much better if I had played that comp as you donât really learn much. Also I wasnât flaming you, I was saying that DH is far easier than the other classes you mentioned and its a start class for arena that was created with simplicity in mind and you got offended because you love DH and started spouting total crap about how a Mage can stand there and spam Frostbolt and win⌠which bring you class knowledge into question.

Not really, we donât complain about the easiness of the dps rotation solely, itâs also because you donât have to do anything but that and burning.
Mages got to control the game and trade defensives accordingly to not have melees ontop of them. Meanwhile, a DH could hit BD randomly and dodge Disarm.
