I wouldn’t have posted if it weren’t for the high amount of versatility, it’s what intrigued me here.
I don’t have a clear position on the topic, I think blizzard somehow forces us to do stuff to do the content we like, but I don’t think you need something like 100k echoes to get decent corruptions.
You need to grind essences for weeks or months, you need to farm raids for weeks, you need to farm arenas and bgs for weeks. So yes. Corruption is removed. The rest not. Still a huge grind. For temporary power ups…

Imagine having to study to graduate in order to do your dreamjob.
Study is a choice. Imagine having to study IT to be eligible to join your study of choice (philosophy) or something similar.
During your studies there’s always a few subjects that you don’t like.
For example a friend of mine studied psychology because he wants to understand the human mind and help people but he absolutely DISLIKED having to do statistical analytics in a software called SPSS.
Just because you follow a study, doesn’t mean you like every aspect of it. Which is similar to this guy’s problem with the game.

Considering you’ve never done AotC I am edging to know what you consider “turbo high” content?
The game isnt just about raiding or pvp and btw Lsx on there main are pushing higher keys than you “just sayin”.
I sure hope so considering I haven’t been playing properly since Battle for dazzaralor. Cuz reasons mentioned in this thread. Which is why I want to know. Why do we have to grind all this arbitrary stuff over and over and over to play the game?
Because raiding is the only content in the game pepega.
Cutting edge raiding and pushing 24s is what i consider turbohigh content.

Its so easy to get them people want gear but dont want to put any effort in really sad .
Different people like different content and they have different opinions about it.
Contents type
M+
Different level of raiding
Achivements
Collection
Pet battles
PvP upto 3000+(this is harder than cutting edge)
Gold making and auction house
Mounts farming
Proffetions
Role playing
Socializing
Leveling
And so on…
So everyone have different types of end game - respect other people opinions about end game.
Example PvP players only want to do PvP content and they expect to get gear by doing PvP - not hc/m+ raiding. If other people just outplay via gear doing pve content that’s not fair to them. That’s kinda forced content on them.

No I agree. Gear should be grinded. But I don’t want all the stupid layered systems that never end kinda grinds. (artifact power, covenant swaps, conduits etc.) like let gear be the final grind.
Yes raiding is the only content where this suicide farm/grind comes into play. Not that it is the only content but it is far more influenced by the arbitrary system grinds. Even more so for people who like crossover content.
