At this stage I’m kind of happy with this situation because it shows this gated/peer review mindset dominating the WoW community is soon to implode on it self.
Don’t believe in what Belular says too much, most of what he uses is just made-up number with too many assumptions for how little data he actually has.
That said, two possible reasons for harder time getting groups:
- it’s summer time with pandemic restrictions being lifted…people who were stuck at home for over an year are just going out more than normal.
- this raid is much heavier on mechanics than Nathria, which tends to scare many away.
Well you do not help people when they are down on ground YOU BEAT em to last breath, that’s how wow community works nowdays
and if the tank in m0 says"i do more aoe as bear than you"
and next you get removed because obnoxiousness jerks and ppl who bash you for any reason is accepted in the m0
and oh yeah if im with my healer friend and someone criticises and kicks me my buddy also leaves
and the rest of us good players wonder why ppl are quitting wow and its not just the lack of content?
noone wants"advice" or criticism from such people
wonder why they still play with such attitude?
I don’t know if you’re god-like in raid awareness to do that well on the first bosses (since even there they may wing it since at least 4 bosses are too easy), but in any case in Sylvanas you can’t know what they do unless they fail on personal mechanics at least once or twice.
I’m at a point that I trust MORE people on 9/10hc and it is NOT because they care more to do the boss but that it is clear that additionally to that: a LOT of “curves” are either bought with cash/gold or it’s people that were carried by their friend’s guild etc.
lol someone kicked me today, while I was the LAST ONE ALIVE on the end of phase 2.
because “only curves allowed!” and he just got the lead of the raid.
I 100% disagree, thus personal responsibility is a bit higher - I believe the overall mechanical requirements are quite a bit lower than CN.
That said I don’t think the majority of the wow population is out partying 7 days a week.
Maybe I have good like raid-awareness, but it all comes from checking logs + wipefest.gg between pulls
It’s super easy to use, just scroll down to the matrix :
wipefest.gg/report/AT9PgmKrWV7p12Mv/fight/11?fightSummaryTab=players
(anyone can use this tool, its even free).
But tbh - I don’t get this crying over getting into curve groups - when there is so many ways to do it :
- Join a guild
- Join a community (if you got a bad schedule)
- Make your own groups
- Join streamer raids, eg. woottodoo, who’s helped people with 220 ilvl+, and no curve getting curve, 4 times a week for the last month.
- Get help from a friend to get into a good group
But if you as a 6th choice want people to not take what looks best on paper, and just go with random people with random progress - you must be joking.
Creating your own groups, you probably go for a mix between ilvl and progress yourself.
