You got What you wanted. Healers get Massive nerfs

This would be a huge change, they would need to rehaul a lot of PvP balancing, otherwise PvP would just be about who uses their CC/CDs first and who has higher burst, making sustained dmg specs like BM irrelevant.

I don’t know if Blizzard would be willing to do such a radical change. And it would upset people who enjoy playing healers in PvP.

A few years ago FFXIV removed Healers AND Tanks from its pvp, turning them all into dps while in pvp modes. The pvp there is now completely dead outside of prime time. You can pvp for about 3 hours a Day.

Interesting to know. I haven’t tried FFXIV. In what way did removing healers make PvP unattractive? People die too fast in BGs or whatever the FFXIV equivalent is?

Everybody got one skill to heal themselves that costs mana, you can press it 4 times in combat then you are dry. Then you got 5-10 combat skills with or without CD. No Gear, no crits. Fixed stats for everybody. It basically plays like a Moba without gear and every class/job plays the same just with different effects.

They had to make everything the same for the sake of balance since Healers and Tanks now became DPS. There is zero variety, zero thrill. Everything is slow and predictable. Now You only get queues at Prime time and its dead the rest of the day.

Before these changes it was basically the same as WoW PvP.
