If you woud read Backraft talent in full you woud get whi its is consumed on instan casts, it reduce cast time and GLOBAL COOLDOWN of spels so your instants hve 30% lower GCD on Backdraft
It wasn’t consumed by instants in the original version though, so it should be fixed.

Indeed it should be fixed and me personally I cannot understand how it is even possible that they change talent without any notification etc…

If it wasnt consumed then it shoud not benefit it with 30% lowere gcd on instants
No we disnt use it for two or three weeks xD it was there for a couple of months atleast since it came out with ICC 3.3.0 which is the longest patch
Also you can allways chose to invite 5ppl and que for rdf so you can skip the random element if that is what is concerning you

It is tragic…can u imagine that they would change talent of ur class e.g.? And nerfed u big time? It should be WOTLK exp… why they modify the game for no reason… do they know that the most popular was wotlk and they had biggest income during this time? Since cata exp they were just losing more and more subs…

I only know the basic of warlocks up to about level 30, but if this is true, it’s yet another anti-Classic move.
WOTLK was their most successful expansion, and for some ungodly and unfathomable reason, they’re removing/adding things to it. It’s hard to see it any other way than Blizzard trying to create “new” product, which would be fine if it wasn’t god damn CLASSIC.

The instants doesn’t benefit of the 30% gcd.
The talent acts like haste does, but in a fixed ammount. Cap still in 1 sec GCD thats why in PvE destro literally can’t scale as well as demon/aff.
It should say “30% of your 3 next destruction casted spells” (Soul Fire and Shadowbolt included), the “non channeled spells” its just some intern who doesn’t know how the spec works.

Blizzards plan to create a solution for the massive queues is simply, annoy enough players to quit the game so the queues naturally go away.

you need 50% haste to get 1 sec gcd so unless you are ICC geared it is benefiting you

because haste means speeding up globals as well and those instant casts are consuming it because it does reduce the gcd of these spells

It wasn’t the case in OG WotLK.
