Not quite, If you do the world quests the quests available beyond that point will gradually continue to rise in ilvl with you, eventually it will get to that point.

I’m sitting here on my druid looking at two 445ilvl world quests.
I jest you not.
I just provided you a screenshot. It’s literally 340 gear.
I just checked on one of my alts who is also 340. There are plenty of WQs for 385 and 390 gear, emissary chest for 3000 AP which on an alt will push the ilevel of your neck through the roof in seconds… at ilevel 365(!) you will be able to join heroic dungeons which drop 415 gear…
… honestly, stop being lazy and looking for excuses.

Just do the quest, then do another, and as you do them the ilvl will improve.

I just checked, the Tortollan emissary will give a 445 ring or trinket right now. The normal WQs are 415, but due to just how many they are, that ilvl can probably be reached in 2 days. 430 in probably a week and then you can start getting taken to lower end mythics. And from then on you have like 6 months before Shadowlands anyway. You can also craft some gear, and also you can get in a guild and hopefully they will help you.

Exactly. Catch up mechanic was designed to give loot above player current ilvl so whether someone want or not you will get higher ilvl gear from all sources XD
You will see 385/390. Once you increase your ilevel those WQs rewards will increase too.
But still will get quests for gear above his ilvl. Thats how catch up mechanic works so stop talking nonsense.

If it’s a duplicate or a slot you already have covered just jump to the next one, there is so many.
Actually IMO this is a slower way to gear, far better ways to boost your ilvl, you can have nazjatar unlocked and be in 385 gear within 20-30 minutes of hitting 120.

That’s what I’m saying should change.
I’ve spent more hours on my new alt than I have on my DH, my DH on the other hand is 400+. 9 hours, 340 ilvl. 7 hours on Dh, 401 ilvl.
Why? Oh, because it had instant queues for dungeons and didn’t have to sit there and wait for ages, if even getting into a dungeon before I logged off. I press the button and I’m in on that.
