Stick to not RPing in WoW because I’m far too jaded and always end up killing off characters who actually have some semblance of character development

I’ve been an on/off player and I 100% blame my mostly guildless status since WotLK for that. Not that I’ve not tried guilds but I’ve not found any that I felt were as great a fit as the guild I was in between Classic and the end of WotLK. Sometimes the guilds slowly bled to death, sometimes it felt to me like it wasn’t a fit. I enjoy this game. I enjoy roleplaying in it but going around guildless feels a bit lonely and I’m very aware that I’m not nearly getting the full experience.
So my resolution for now: find a character that I want to ‘main’ on and find them a guilld.
