Your thoughts on Rumble

Hey guys,

So I know Warcraft Rumble has been getting some flak, but I would like to know your opinions why is that?

In general, judging at least from what can be observed the most is the theme and the art style that is not very king for the eyes of many who enjoy Warcraft universe.

Personally, Rumble may serve as a nice PG introduction for my kid, now that is a singular good thing I found for myself about it, perhaps you can name a few more ?

What is rumble, and how do I avoid it?

I don’t have an opinion on it, I don’t play games on my phone, if it comes out for PC then I might try it.

It’s just another game of the Warcraft IP. Just one I care not at all for.

Imo they are missing their target audience. It is basically just another “oh, look! we try to be like Fortnite! Clash of Clans Ripoff with Warcraft skin!”

I’m probably not going to touch it as I don’t play mobile games, they’re usually gachas and money sinks for the ultimate corpo greed.

I’ve had early access and my impression is that its a mobile game.

Grindy and predatory.

Seems like an improved flash/wc3 game with confusing monetization.

Like the “lootbox” is made into a minigame where you can accidentally kick out stuff you want unless you pay extra?

the only people who complain about mobile games are boomers.

for years now mobilie gaming market is much bigger then both PC and all consoles gaming markets combined.

denying this means leaving in delusion

it will be very popular just like heartstone on mobiles still is.

honestly we should have 4-5 mobilie games directly tied to their main PC titles years ago.

we should get a wow clone of pokemon based on pet battles years ago and similiar games.

Not really. The vast majority of mobile games are either side-grade or downgrade from our flash era of gaming.

Yes it’s bigger. But bigger for all the wrong reasons. Mainly microtransactions.

Hearthstone is indeed one of the few more respectable phone games. But those few, don’t counter the fact that phones default controller system is quite frankly terrible for games that needs more reliable input due to the lack of any physical feedback (button presses, joystick movement) other then a flat screen.

More specifically. Blizzard should have released more games tied to their universes be it single player or mobile. Rather than to leave things for dead.

But due to how their corporate structure is. If the game can’t be drowned in monetization systems, then it’s a dead concept.

It looks cute but not my thing. I had hoped for a pet battle game.

The pet battle game never made it to fruition as far as I’m aware. It got scrapped.

wow player’s biggest fear is change.

the fact that mmos genre are even still alive somehow is a feat.

I’d like to look at it, but I have to be really careful as I’ve become addicted to mobile games in the past and spent a ton of money I didn’t have and had to delete them off my phone. I do, however, really like the idea of a WoW mobile game …

I haven’t played Rumble yet but I’ve been signed up for it since it was announced.

I will see if it’s something I like when it launches next month.

People in general do not complain about mobile games themselves.

They complain about the mobile games which are designed around degenerate business models.

If a game has too many pop up ads, I tend to uninstall it and if it requires me to buy things to get through levels, it doesn’t last long either.

But I still play some games on my phone.

I also play a certain mobile game too. (FGO)
There are good enough mobile games out there depending on taste.

As long as they are not designed like that one Harry Potter game where unless you paid you had to watch your avatar getting chocked by monster plant for half an hour

Its enjoying to watch brown-nosing content creators trying hard to be excited about it.

I’m not a boomer and I dislike mobile gaming because of how predatory they tend to be.

They make them grindy with limited resources but also add ways too buy more resources to bypass the limits.
