You're the innkeeper 🏡

You are now Innkeeper in Azeroth and got big pile of gold because someone quitted the game and left it for you.

Where do you build your Inn (so where is it located)? Which customer group is it aimed at? What is the specialty offered as food/drink in your Inn you cannot get from any other Inn? What kind of entertainment your Inn offers? And finally, what is your Inn called?

If I wanted to make the most money it would need to be located in Orgrimmar so if we ignore business sense I’d have to say Eversong Woods in the starting area, overlooking the sea.

People returning from their tasks could come in for a refreshing drink and a bite to eat, share their woes with others. I would call the Inn - Sunstrider’s Retreat.

Welcome to The Timid Tiger!

Located on a misty cliff in the Jade Forest we serve drinks and snacks for the shy and quiet wanderer. We have a variety of flavoured soy milks (our Hozen guests prefer the banana one), carefully brewed ale that carries a punch, fruity spirits and a large variety of wholesome teas.

We also have snacks, noodle soups and rice pudding, steamed veggies, dumplings and our specialty, black sesame ice cream.

Come sit on our terrace looking out over the lush green forest, breathe in the soft breeze, and if you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of Yu-Lon, flying past.

I’d hollow out one of the big trees in Townlong Steppes in the magic Nightelven way that somehow doesn’t harm the tree because magic, then proceed to use it as a neutral tavern for travellers and adventurers and offer delicious Kimchi as the trademark dish and other Nightelven foods and our music, songs and dances will be our speciality as a Nightelven themed tavern and restaruant in the southern lands. I’d probably call it Tranquil Tree because of unoriginality and hire an ice mage and restoration shaman to keep it safe just incase some edgy jerk tries to repeat what they did to Teldrassil to it.

Nightelves need more peaceful places to hang out, and this would be one.

The Pride of Quel’Thalas. Located in the beautiful woody region of Eversong, my inn would be solely reserved for the crème de la crème of Azeroth. In fact, I would say calling it an “inn” would be too tawdy a terminology - call it more so a banquet and feasting hall, with richness everywhere - from the paintings and curtains, to the flavour in the gourmet food!

Only sin’dorei and ren’dorei are permitted.

I’d have a little hideaway inn in Ashenvale. Just a small place for those looking for a quiet getaway. We’d serve mainly vegetarian foods so the poor deer outside don’t get offended. We’d have a little seating area outside so that you can still and enjoy a drink while watching night fall in the forest. It would have a fanciful name like The Moonlit Whisper or Dryad’s Retreat.

Since it would be a somewhat whimsical and romantic inn, I’d just have to hope the regular Goldshire crowd would get lost in the forest and never find it…

I don’t get why blizz does not make some areas in wich players can buy buildings wich they can make their base of operations/home/rp inn. Just a building with a mailbox and maybe some decoration options or building style. Nothing as huge as how the garrisons were. Even garrisons were supposed to have different locations from wich the player could choose

I’d rebuild Darnassus and make it a big inn. Lots of pole dancing. Like Goldshire, but better.

I would like to welcome you to The Edge

The Edge is located at the side of the Black Rock mountain, hanging over the Burning Steppes. It offers Dark Iron beers and variety of dishes specializing on Sizzling Westfall Chicken, cooked with never the less than dragon fire and spiced for perfection. The Edge is reachable only by gliding and it is popular retreat for demon hunters and other adventures knowing the secrets of gliding. When night falls we light up our torches and sit watching dragons fly by sharing the stories of old adventures. And when you get tired, you don’t have to be prepared because we are: we offer you soft hammocks with lushious blankets to lul you to sleep while hearing the dragons distant roars.

Land’s End Beach in Tanaris, I would build my inn with a large balcony so that after a day on the beach or swimming in the sea, my guests could sit and eat on the balcony while watching the sun set. Food would have to be a speciality of fish dishes and also an unusual selection for people to try, like the famous basilisk burger. Drinks would be cocktails, like the Silithid Stinger (has quite a bite to it).

I’d love to assist in the rebuilding of Darnassus, though I worry the funds of one player wouldn’t fully finance it, but with everyone of both factions, especially those who caused it, help fund the rebuild we could have the best capital city hub once more and make it even better than before, as hard as that might be, since Darnassus was already the best.

You got amends to make, Horde, and though your gold and resources won’t clean you of what you did you can start to repent with the rebuilding.

I’d build my inn in Darkshore. And behind it at the coast I’d give people access to a demolisher at the cost of a few gold.
It’ll be called “burn the pointy eared people”.
