They are meant precisely as catch up raids for those that missed MC/BWL, having said that there will always be those who will snub your for not having gear from those places.
Just dont expect to be able to clear ZG with 20 man in quest greens, you will need your pre-raid BIS
Why are you not able to raid MC but you will be able to raid zg??? :S

Because ZG have a few pieces of loot that MC does not, so you may be able to get a few raiders to go there and help carry your alt/late commer. (ZG is 20 man, MC is 40)
ZG is similar difficulty to MC with more emphasis on awarenes and doing your job, AQ20 is similar to BWL. You can wear a similar level of gear in those raids.
Meaning you could go to ZG even in “some” greens as long as you’re not a tank. AQ20 even in full pre-BiS is unsure whether you will be able to tackle the last 2 bosses. The roach and the general are pretty easy tho.
Again, ZG is pretty well known by now. You could probably kill everything but Hakkar and Mandokir with a green raid who watched a guide or two.
yeah, its even more pathetically easy than MC.
you will absolutely wreck ZG and AQ20 with just a good set of dungeon blues assuming people have almost functioning brains.
getting a bit rusty in your old age perhaps grandpa, those instances were easy as hell, you dont have to make excuses like how todays wow is easymode to justify having a hard time against a 2 mechanic boss.
Yeah but op says he “can’t get into raids” but he wants to raid other raids? I don’t think I understand why he can’t raid a 40 man raid but for whatever reason he can get into the 20man raids.

Yeah it was so easy they even introduce one more crystal before the event begins.

Why wouldn’t you get into an MC/Ony raid? It’s as easy as dungeon runs but with 35+ ppl. Just find a guild who need people to fill out raids, there will be plenty even far into the future.
It seems that you two are the ones that don’t get it
