I’ve been having this problem for 2 days but last night a user on the “WarCraft 3 United” Discord seemed to have found a temporary solution for this problem.
(I bought Reforged)
The problem is I bought the game and I couldn’t download it and it suggested I buy it again. Here is a step-by-step workaround.
- Go to “Downloads – Blizzard Entertainment” and download the game you want.
- Finish the download
- Go to the Games page and select Warcraft 3
- There is a globe icon next to the Game Version click that and select Asia or Americas.
Now you should be able to play the game without it giving the error. I hope this problem gets fixed soon but in the meantime try and refer people this way.
