I also felt the same when I stole a bar of chocolate from the cupboard when I was very young because I was hungry at 2 am, sneaked it back to my bedroom, took a large bite and promptly spat it out choking.

Ofc it woke my mum up and she runs through panicking because Iā€™m choking and crying, then when she asked me what was wrong and I said the chocolate made me sick she took the chocolate and to roughly quote herā€¦

ā€œwell it serves you right you thievin little (redcated), that was the dogā€™s chocolate. Now go and wash your mouth out to get rid of it and go back to bed. And if you feel sick throw up in the bucket ill put beside your bedā€
