🦄 High Elves will be playable by the end of Midnight

I support the alliance getting Stratholme.

Scroll up.

It’s likely that it’ll end up in the same way Horde can technically be in Bel’ameth with the “the eyes of the sentinels are upon you” kinda debuff?

But I’m not sure, the expansions are so inconsistent with faction tension anyway.
Are undead welcome in Gilneas? I mean they came aid with the reclamation and everyone hugged at the end.

Cba.

If they’d update that to a proper city and not a creepy dump, then sure.
But, support or not, that’s not what they did. Like I said: We’re not given a choice.
Alliance is being forced into Silvermoon just as much as the horde is being forced to have alliance in one of their cities.

The Horde left Gilneas. The canon flight path is just gameplay and nothing else.

If High and Void Elves are welcome in Silvermoon, the Alliance will by extension be staying, no?

Do they now? I watched it and it seems the void elvs stay in Windrunner village so far. And Rommath keeps denying Umbric entrance to the city.

We end up with something called Silver Sun Accord.

No. We have no evidence the same welcome will be extended to the void elves. And there is a difference between SOME members of the Alliance with ties to Silvermoon being permitted access, and a random Human rocking up.

I wonder if high elven rp’ers will be roleplaying in silvermoon lol. Wasn’t the whole point of being an high elf to look silver and blue and rp in stormwind?

Nobody asked for this writing.

Who are the “SOME” you are referring to? Former Silver Covenant or?

Edit: Whoops, doublepost

Yeah cause there was a generic desire for access to that city. Silvermoon neutral. How the Alliance cheered. But it turns out it’s not really neutral.

Can you imagine if these Alliance didn’t demand access to the Belf city and instead demanded Blizzard adds an Alliance city to be revamped. Like Gilneas maybe. Or the Exodar.

But where is my Forsaken version of the nelf town in the Dragon Isles, that comes with a long quest line? I mean if we are being fair.

The faction lines shouldn’t be blurred too hard in my opinion. The blood elves made their current faction loyalties clear enough by now.

New Silvermoon even has a garden in it made in the shape of the horde symbol

Thalassian Elves.

Nobody else has a reason to stay in a Horde capital.

I know. And the new ship model literally has the Horde icon on its sails. And 1/3 of the city itself is locked ground for horde players. But you can’t argue logic on fanatics who have a clear set agenda they won’t step away from.

So like I said.

if Alliance Thalassian Elves are allowed, then by extension the Alliance are allowed there. They are Alliance.

No.

Because they are allowed to stay because they are thalassian IN SPITE of being Alliance.

Every other Alliance member, narratively, has a temporary welcome that will expire.

You silly goose.

in the lore yes it will expire. But silvermoon is gonna have alliance in it forever now. Blizzard will never undo it. since it’s going to be a part of the midnight expansion forever. Its like a sleep over party where the guests never leave the day afterwards
