+3 itemlevel for 400 valor points... what a joke

I fail to see how valor system helps with that when the old items are not upgradable.

Well, I wish you were right but experience tells me the difference.

The damage between meta and non-meta specs can be huge, even though players wearing similar ilvl gear. This leads to meta classes being picked over and the other players get stuck in the line.

And people are not stupid picking meta. They simply choose convenience or even better guarantee . If you know a spec does +Xk damage in a dungeon with the same item rank comparing to other specs, group leaders take that class, obviously.

To be fair, I didn’t know there was a cap. I don’t know how I feel about a cap. An infinitely farmable mode needs a cap, but I’m not sure if this execution is good.

IDEALLY, I’d want gearing like this:
Mythic0 has 3-5 times the drop rate it has right now. It serves as a way of getting your base bis items quickly. Then M+ is used only to farm upgrading resources/currencies, like Valor, and has a low chance of dropping a straight up item upgrade.

I am also not sure what to think about it. The gear is not end gear. So when we are able to upgrade some stuff to 220 (imaging a 2 hander), and you spend a lot of valor, that valor never comes back. When you get lucky in your weekly great vault with a 226, all that valor is down the drain. It is fine when it is gone, but it is not refarmable.

To me this means it is not usuable for gear progression while going through the M+ levels. It is just sit on cap, and after getting to KSM you can start thinking of upgrading some 210’s to 220 because that slot is unlucky. I am not seeing people upgrade their +5 gear with valor while slowly climbing to +10. That is a waste of valor, that is not refarmable anymore because of the seasonable cap.

and this is why this system is garbage

it was so close to perfection.

imagine pve system letting you buy gear like pvp system does for season capped currency and then it having non-capped upgrades locked behind certain difficulties

all they had to do is to implement that. ofc with gear being retro-upgradable

instead this they released this abomination.

Thats wierd. I thought whole valor system was implemented becouse mythic+ lack loot rewards. And now it looks like players can actualy earn 220 before they even hit KSM. Somethinf is fishy.

KSM is a requirement for upgrading to 220. Without the achievement you are not allowed.

Yes but players alredy have KSM. So how was Mythic+ lacking loot rewards when players alredy walk in 220+ gear? Or have you alredy forgot why valor system exists? It was created based on players feedback that there isnt enough loot. But so far it looks there was.

What makes you think that 220 gear is only from M+? Dratnos has a nice video about it after a month of release of SL where he shows his 220 ilvl and the resources. I tell you, not many items were from M+.

It doesnt matter where they come from. If Players walk in 220+ gear in this stage of expansion then clearly there wasnt any lack of loot at all.

This whole valor push is nothing but players what didnt want put any sort of effort into the gearing but wanted high itemlvl gear by doing their trivial content. But they didnt expect that Blizzard will actualy desing it way that you will still have to put effort to upgrade your gear and these players are mad again.

Its so obvious there wasnt any loot problems. Just buch of entilted players wanting free high end gear.

so if some Mythic raiders, pvp’ers and BOE buyers have in 3 weeks time 220 ilvl, there is enough gear for the average M+ player. Ok.

And why should you get same amouth of gear as players what play more and engage in all type of content? Blizzard cant balance game aroun few players focusing on 1 type of content lol. It would inflate gearing like crazy. Players would literaly.walk in full high end gear in couple of weeks.

They can, they just don’t want to acknowledge m+ as a valid play style.

They cant balance gear drops around players what focus only on one small part of the game. We would be showered i loot its total nonsense.

It can definitely be balanced. Nobody is asking for showers of loot.

How? If i can gear up in 2 months by doing M+, pvp or raiding. How long would it took if i engagr in all 3? 3 weeks? Sorry but thats way too fast.

I don’t know how you do it, but i am not done with gearing at all. And we are in the 14th week.

And you have another 14-20 weeks ahead of you. And do not give suggestions if you dont have ways to solve problems of those suggestions.

Because the situation does not exist.
