+30% warmode bonus for alliance now

as I said in an other post, nope never, I will never put on WM again while leveling, it was the most annoying thing ever, getting ganked buy a swarm of hordes on a lvl 20 char, while they where a skull to me, nah nope not gona happen.

also nah the bad times I had at start of BFA whit WM on, so nope wont do it unless I am in a big raid doing something, what I again can not care about at all.

The tagging in WM is to encourage WPvP, give people something to fight over, and they frequently do.

Some rares, particularly the toy or mount dropping ones tend to have a group ready and waiting for them, I’ve even joined groups where the Alliance have the tag but with the influx of Horde joining, we wipe them and take it over.

I’m sure it must happen in reverse too. Alliance form groups and outnumber the Horde.

My herbing alt has War Mode and it’s much more peaceful when both sides can tag a mob, I see a lot more Alliance in WM off.

Turned wm on and i saw 1 alliance flying while the ground was covered with filth, turned it of again wont contribute to giving horde anything, they are cowards who destroy this game in sheer numbers.

If you chickens would turn on the WM on you would have the same numbers!

I once left the warlock on a brink of death fighting mobs, passed him doing my own thing. He later backstabbed me with 2 od his friends. I tried to be nice multiple times, but i’m the end i get screwed. So now im attacking whenever i see a chance.

Except the Alliance isn’t a hivemind, we didn’t collectively decided to not turn on warmode. This is a structural problem.

Neither did the Horde.

At the start of the expansion the numbers in WM were more or less balanced. I think a lot of people didn’t know what it was like to be on PvP servers. So it was a shock to experience it.

There were also some issues with shard balancing at the start and some shards ended up being one sided. They fixed that but the people on the whole on the Alliance did not enjoy the mode. They started turning it off, in turn that makes more turn it off because they end up being outnumbered all the time.

To venture out in WM on as Alliance it is much safer to do it with friends. Horde don’t currently have this problem and it’s fairly safe to go out into WM on your own. Unless you get an Alliance packed shard. Or you are on an RP server, where the Alliance get the best of both worlds. High WM bonus and High population in WM.

It was slightly imbalanced at the start, which lead to a larger and larger imbalance, that’s what I said. I am pretty sure the situation is reversed on oceanic for example, it’s not a question of mindset but of structure.

And that’s the heart of the problem, the more you have to organize yourself the more difficult, and so rare it is. It is much harder to convince a group to turn on wm than just piling on Numbers individually.

They wouldnt now the Vulpera are with the Horde. If i remember rightly dont they hate eachother?

stop feeding the loop then? Dont get me worng BOTH factions whine like little babies when something doesn’t go their way but its a consistent whine from alliance.

After recently making the switch from horde to alliance to play with RL friends Ive lasted around 4 days before turning WM off. The new game content is unplayable for ally with WM on unless your in a big group.

Either balance the shards or just get rid of having a bonus for WM.

Hold up. Balanced ? Iam pretty sure there was something about a bug , which made sharding work not right. Always making shards which were horde dominated

Yes but Ion confirmed the numbers were balanced more or less at the start. I mentioned the hiccup with shards.

Well that alone can be enough to tip the scale. But what makes me really sad is that durring Wod , when the alliance dominated pvp

Horde racials got buffed , they buffed items in a way which was good for the horde and more

Nowadays , nothing of worth is done for the alliance

You shouldn’t make such statements without knowing what a negative feedback loop is. The only thing what can happen is for Blizzard to act upon it. Just imagine an endless downward spiral (that’s no exaggeration, keep in mind that at this point almost nothing critical will help) where even the better Alliance-racias did nothing for them. The first Mechagnome-samples from wowrealm show it. The class could be OP as hell, people will not change or play the Alliance for it. And given that the overall sentiment is very negative towards the blue faction, from both sides coming, it will sooner or later break the game what many people no realize.

I have seen other feedback loops happening in the past and believe me, it will bite everyone’s butt at one point. It’s not fun, this has nothing to do with a childish competitive faction-pride talk, this is reality. It will destroy the current form of WoW if nothing will change. Ion acknowledged the problem in 2018 but they haven’t acted upon it till now.

All of those suggestions would kill off horde on rp servers. Not only would we be zerged as we are today, we would be downright one shotted, on top of that horde would never even be able to turn on vm which means a minority would become even smaller.

With or without it, rp servers shouldn’t get the same buff as normal, that part should be completely separated.

nah its a shard thing not a rp server issue. what their saying is complete BS since you can phase in non-rp realm players in the tip of a hat.

I was told you could if you grouped with someone who isn’t on a RP server.

Yes but if a Horde player on a rp server makes a group and people join it from other servers they can easily swarm it. On rp server Alliance has an advantage as long as Horde doesn’t make a group, on other servers alliance is at a disadvantage with or without group unless they make like a massive raid.

I turn my warmode on as alliance all the time, it’s peace and quiet on Argent Dawn we don’t share shards or warmode with the war <3

Bonus gets set to 50% → More Alliance turn on WM → Bonus goes down as the numbers equalize → Alliance turns WM back off → Bonus gets set to 50% → …
