5 million gold help !

Wait ,what ! … They will remove the AH from the mount ??

Most gold making methods are all pretty well known and ruined by those who overdo it.

Crafting materials sell for nothing compared to a year ago, ruined by botters and multiboxers which Blizzard refuses to do anything about.

Transmog items never sell, 99% of WoW players have the most of them, and the competition is too big to satisfy the little demand.

Crafted items except consumables and gear are worthless unless you are a freshly dinged alt, and they never sell.

The only thing I can think of which rewards decent amount of money is by boosting Mythic+ and raids.

If you have high gear but not enough skill to manage boosting you can do 2 things that i think are viable if u want to get Brutosaur before Shadowland:

  • Mecha-Mogul Mk2 mount: you get 10% of mats needed in a Motherlode+2 (or higher), so 10 runs = 1 mount. If u are 445+ (obtainable by dedicated casual heroic raider and M+10 runner at this point in season) you can just blast thru ML+2 in 10-12 minutes regardless what your team looks like. Mount usually sells for 120k on my server… if u manage 3-4 runs in 1 hour you get very good gold per minute spent. This is a grind ofc… and i wouldn’t suggest to try get 5m just like this, but if u have 15 minutes and are a bit bored you can always go crush a ML+2. You have to be engineer.

  • Mythic BoE farm: When new raid comes and mythic opens, go farm mythic BoEs… it is a gamble, you may get nothing, you may get 10m. But if u can manage to farm BoEs for 20 hours you will sure have something to show for it (not guaranteed tho… but highly unlikely you wont get anything at all). High gear will get you in fast and efficient groups so that helps. Since they removing titanforging, in past you were hoping to hit jackpot with a sweet max level socketed item (such item is worth minimum 1 brutosaur in the 1st week)… I dont know how removal of titanforge will affect the market of BoEs as all will be “the same”.

Getting 2 to 3 million per month from dungeon and HC raid boosting (3 characters).
The Community I’m in currently asks for 1.6k rio to apply to boost +10s, it’s not that hard unless you are super casual or hate dungeons.

Which community is this?

Yeah but what’s the point of making more of the same class…?

Go back in time, make 50 lvl 100 alts and farm Garrison gold missions.

The most useful thing i have found out so far is selling yourself as a tank

I charge 2K pr pull ( I don’t do mythics cuz im not professional tank ) and i let people choose any tank 440+, i tried doing the same with healers but just didnt work out

One thing you also can do is sell consumables as a vendor in pug raids ( Flask, food ect ) only issue is that the person has to be from your realm so you rarely get a customer, but its a way!

My man

Besides different faction it serves no purpose but to mindlessly farm stuff

Wait until the new raid hits in 8.3 and make 5+ million gold selling mats and consumables to raiders. You will have lots of competition though, so learn the best days of the week and the best hours of the day to post auctions.

Basically you want your auctions to sell instantly otherwise they get buried and never sell.

Or you raid and get lucky with titanforge boe.Be rdy for Nylotha and get a nice mythic+tf boe that can net you in first weeks of 8.3. Raid solid milion+
Or trash farm runs in hc,and if you net a good prock before mythic is even out, people sold it for 2-3m.

Hello

About the motherlode parts farm, I want to add that the parts also drop on normal.

Also you can skip all bosses until Razdunk, unlike many dungeons where there is a door or wall of some sort until you kill the boss, in ML you can just sidestep the boss & continue
The most dangerous mobs are the alchemist between boss 2 -> 3, they can morph you for 10sec. the rest of the trashs are easy to deal with ( & usually mobs before the minefield dont pass it & reset for some reason)
For the other weird behaviours I encountered: sometimes boss 2 teleport you back to melee & last one reset if you engage it with trash

A tank spec or anti daze item is necessary to not get dismounted

Also a big issue is instance cap per hour ( 10 ). But that’s still a lot of parts per hour

Just those, who do M+ for mount parts , remember you do have to wear your goggles…

Blizzard : Adds new flasks

I’m also thinking to only grind gold for this mount after I finish my Pathfinder Part 2. Oh boy, current content already bored the sh!t out of me and now I need to do monotonous, dull, tedious grind because Blizz thought it was a good idea to remove the most expensive mount in the game. I’m gonna get sick 100% after/if I reach my goal. So good luck for you and all of us, we guna need it!

I have most of it and I intend to fill in the missing cap by Christmas, but I actually have over done it so much past days, there are people in my guild worried that I’ll quit after I get it and I have even got few notes with "Do not over do it… "

And kind of I agree that people should sit down and just make a solid plan spread over longer timespan prior next expansion instead burning themselves out. make weekly goals, and some casual passive gains, instead going 24/7 nuts.
