Who came up with the idea to not have the 50% xp buff during the pre patch?
I think that’s so dumb, idk about everyone else but the majority of everyone i know will be leveling during the pre patch
Go fish.
NOT having it there is the perfect idea!
Why not please both parties? Those who want it, can turn it on. While those who dont, can leave it off?
ooh right, we cant have those kinda things, because those who dont wanna use it, feel “pressured” into using it…
Because its unfair advantage.
Pretty certain it will happen end June……,haters gonna hate
50% buff? Prepatch?? What are you talking about?
We never had XP buffs in Era or Anniversay - and no prepatch for years.
read up… there is a 50% xp buff on cata classic which will end when the PRE-patch comes in july
Then post in the Cata forums. This is the Classic Era/Anniversary forum.
If YOU had to travel somewhere to activate it - fine. I am against us having to travel to get rid of it
I do not - as said multiple times already - mind how others play. I am against “improvements” I have to jump through hoops to get rid of.
Retail that way →
Bye.
That’s fine. let those that want - and are not yet up to snuff have a chance, and then let’s enjoy the Pre-patch when it hits.
For once Blizz is doing it right!
But I agree with
I thought you spoke of the TBC pre-patch.
i will GLADLY(!) travel to any city to turn that on:) Its beyond worth it for me
I agree, to a certain extent. I dont think having to go to a city to turn on/off a big thing like this, is a big “hoop” to jump through.
The minority should have to do the jumping. If the majority of the playerbase keeps the xp buff on, then those who dont want it should have to turn it off.
(and ofc the other way, if the majority turns it off, those who want it on should jump)
Nope, those wanting something that was not originally in WoW should do the jumping.
It should be possible to play as in Vanilla onwards without doing anything.
I disagree, but like i said i can gladly jump through hoops in order to get 50% xp buff:)
Oh please. Just talk for Era. Other versions should have some comfort.
Anniversary is NOT vanilla. And believe me, the majority doesn’t want 100% vanilla, bc else they would play on Era. Guess why Era is a bit empty atm?
There’s no reason for this in Era
And I do not say it should totally NOT be in, only that those wanting it, should walk that extra mile.
Classic is not Vanilla. I think we need a Vanilla server or three.
Progression migth be the answer, and HC
My ideal would be Era servers for Classic, TBC, Wrath, and then progression servers starting over with a new version every two years - 6 years cyclus, And the possibility to clone or transfer to the Era servers at each progression.
PvP, PvE, HC and RP servers for all three.
The reason for XP buff is the faster patch speed, and people being lazy
People are different, some people enjoy leveling, while others REALLY dont.
Its become extremely tedious having done the lvling 1-60 countless times already.
This isnt 2004, the world isnt new, there is nothing to explore anymore. For me the real content begins at 60, the road to that point is just dull and tedious.
If YOU enjoy leveling the old way, slow and tedious, thats fine by me, it truly is. But if you want people to tolerate and respect your choices, you have to do the same for others.
You wanna lvl slowly? Perfect, good for you. That means you gotta allow/tolerate those who wanna level faster.
Why? It doesn’t affect you on Era at all.
Just to prove we’re indeed different. I have levelled 1-60 innumerable times as well, and I still love it ad think it’t the best part of WoW.
This is exactly what I do when advocating FOR freedom of choice. Let those who want to buff their levelling speed, let those who want to use addons … and so on.
Just as long as I do not have to find tedious and irritating ways NOT to do this.
All I say is:
I’ve said this I think a zillion times, It’s you wanting to not let me level slowly without first running around, almost killing my new toons running to the Capital, who do not respect others.
It will not be in Era, what are you even on about?
