Perhaps I am wrong to do so but I am not only counting the actual active time inside the dungeons and the travel time but also the time between the runs while I would wait for my guildies to be in the mood for another run + having the right keystone. At 8.3 we used to do like 1 to 3 per week depending on the keystone RNG and the moods of everyone involved. The closest one gets to +15 across the board, the less likely it was for one of us to have the keystone others need.
Or has that changed in SL and we can finally pick the dungeons we want instead of keystone RNG?
It of course depends how you look at it, yes. But in terms of effort and time needed to complete a certain task only really measures in active time in my book since time you spend AFK in Oribos waiting for people to want to play a key isnât really time you spend going for KSM
I can understand that point of view as well. But for methe time you estimated resembles more the experience of someone who gets paid boosted or has really hardcore and charitable friends.
For me the time spend trying to get into a raid/dungeon/Rated PvP is also part of the time of that activity because during that time I cannot do other things.
This is how it might had been if WoW was made by players and not an enterprise who wishes to keep players running on a hamster wheel as long as possible.
.
Speaking of hamsters
I mean, if you were happy with item level progression even before this Valor update then the ability for you to upgrade your items should either be a huge bonus or something you literally couldnât care less about.
By that logic I assume you also donât enchant items that are not max item level because you risk replacing the item and thus wasting the enchant.
Just because you have no use for a system does not make it bad.
My only issue with this is the 135 regardless of key level. Massive discouragement from pushing keys once people have KSM. Idiotic design.
The most effective way to gear then is do one of each 15 in time then spam EZ 2s, why? You canât do this in raids or PvP.
At the very least tier the points earned by the Achi thresholds. Ie 135 for 2-4, 270 for 5-9, 405 for 10-14 and 540 for 15, with increases of 25 for every key level above 15. This way you encourage people to run higher keys whilst making spamming low an option for those who want it.
I have yet to get KSM. Now all those with it who may have run 15s prior for gear at least are taken out of the pool because if theyâre smart, theyâll just focus on hammering 2s as quick as poss. Brilliant.
If you think that this is not an improvement for the great mass of players then youâre delusional.
This is also contradicting itself. If items could be upgraded by 10 then youâd be handfeeding boosting more players just looking for +14 boosts to gear up that way.
But it kind of seems that youâre angry at Mythic+ getting a progression path because others are able to purchase boosts that you canât afford and will thus outgear you. Which doesnât even actually affect you at all.
They have to give the impression this utter non-patch is in fact new content donât they? Considering itâs over 4 months since release with no sign of 9.1 emerging any time soon.
Itâs pathetic and I quickly regretted using up a WoW token, even though I wanted to finally finish the campaign. Iâve already spent half of this expansion unsubbed and itâs looking like that ainât going to improve.
The most horrible thing about this valor system is that, now, when a BiS 207 item drops, youâre going to have to keep it for ages in your inventory until it gets upgraded to a decent ilvl.
Because getting gear that trivializes content you are doing make a lot more sense⌠Especially for m+15 and mythic raids which are suppose to be the definite difficulties.
More time consuming then mythic raids? How? Like how you gonna find to do more time consuming content if you dont have time to do time consuming mythic raiding?
